Next season JC will be playing Bryan Station, Montgomery County, Woodford County and Ashland in the district. So that leaves 6 games to fill. More than likely the apple bowl will be played agains Paintsville... so that leaves 5 open dates. Hopefully JC can schedule the remainder of games against Kentucky teams.

If a referee suspects a concussion on any athlete they are out for the entire contest. No way around it. The injuried player must have a doctors note and that note is only good for 7 days. Unless the tournament has a doctor on staff and even with the doctors approval, the final ruling is left up to the referee.

Dont forget my personal favorite... The use of forearm, elbow or forehead in a punshing way shall be broken. We had a good discussion about this in the rules clinic.

Jeremy Murray, Jeremy Perry, T.J. Music, Adam Collins, Paul Webb, Derrick Sublett, Marc Shepherd, Josh Music all were good players. But Casey and Scott IMO was the team on both sides of the ball.

Yea... I was at that game. There was like 15 overtimes.

Trust me... it is the 2000 team. They got beat out by Tates Creek in the 2nd round of the play-offs. This is the 2006 season, next year it will be the 2007 season. It doesnt go by the graduation year, but the actual year that the games are played.

I would have to say. 2006 - 46 2000 - 16 The defense for the 2006 team has stopped better running attacks than the 2000 team had. The offense for the 2006 team can get put points on the board. Does anybody know the win-loss record between Coach Bill Musick and Coach Jim Matney?

Eagle '01... that would be the 2000 team, they went 11-1. The 2001 team went 2-8. This years team is better than the 2000 team no question. The 2000 team had Scott Salyer and Casey Music. That is it, they did have a good line, but those 2 were the team. This years team has more depth than any team to ever wear the black and gold.

JC has been bouncing back and forth between 4A and 3A for the past 6 or 7 seasons. They are currently in 3A. With the new 6 class alignment next season, they will be in 5A.

When Johnson Central played Lawrence County the gentleman I am refering to was there, he was wearing LC clothes from head to toe.

Ashland - 46 Lawrence County - 12 Dont be surprised to see a former Lawrence County coach in attendance.

For once, I agree with an Ashland fan.

Johnson Central titled this season "Unfinished Business Tour." And to quote Coach Matney in his post-game speech... "This season wasnt about beating Paintsville, or winning 8 games. We called this season the "Unfinished Business Tour" because we ended last season with unfinished business. Ashland and the play-offs is our unfinished business." JC has waited since that sloppy night last season at Putnam stadium to get back at Ashland. On the 20th, JC will get there shot... and belive me JC will be ready.
