The Male/St. Xavier was the best game in the state this week. But the Johnson Central/Ashland game had to be the best game east of Louisville.

I said this in the prediction thread... JC had to limit their stupid penalities, they had 1 false start and limit turnovers. JC had a fumble and an interception. But JC did make up for those 2 by getting 3 take-aways on Ashland.

I was glad to see the condition of the field tonight. The bermuda grass had turned brown, but there wasnt hardly any wet spots like there normally are.

It is a great facility... but there is alot of sun delays. The baseball field is going to be turned around to prevent that.

This was the first game all season that JC had their starters in the entire time. Here is a stat I found impressive. JC has scored 406 points in nine games. JC has allowed 79 points in nine games. That is a 327 point spread.

I am going to make the trip. I cant wait until next friday. Because this game is bigger than the Ashland game. JC HAS TO WIN this game to win THEIR district title. Maybe a nice Mason County poster can give us JC folk directions up there.

Ashland has a HUGE offensive line. But I thought JC's D line did a great job tonight. Cody Lowe, Mason Meek, Josh Gordouze, Dennis Dillion, Nathaniel Dials, Cody Conley... all those guys played with a purpose.
