Here is a little something to discuss... Johnson Central has a scoring pattern. North Laurel 40-6 South Point, OH 35-7 Logan, WV 35-8 Bryan Station 38-14 Lawrence County 55-12 Boyd County 63-12 Paintsville 56-6 Greenup County 49-7 Ashland Blazer 35-7 So if this "pattern" holds true, the score should be something around 35-8 in favor of Johnson Central.

That might be the case. We will just have to wait and see.

I voted for the Bardstown/Bethlehem game. I overlooked the Highlands/CCH game, both should be great games.

You paid your $15 dollars to voice your opinion, as did I. But seriously, the most points JC has given up all year was 14 to a very big and athletic Bryan Station team.

Good point Jeepman. But regular season rankings dont mean anything. I know JC wants to be ranked higher than what they are. Wait until the 3 or 4 round of the play-offs and then see where JC is ranked.

Johnson Central had a 7th grader, Zac Salyers, wrestle in the state tournament for them. He won 2 matches I believe. Just because somebody is young doesnt mean they cant wrestle.

I agree with you. JC has played some soft teams, but that isnt their fault. Most games are scheduled a year or two ahead of time. Teams have their off and on years. If JC would have played some state powerhouses and beat them like they have everybody else, then I could see JC wanting that top spot. Until then, I am sure all JC fans will be happy were they are at. And what have I said since my first day on bluegrasspreps.com, rankings are only good for discussion on bgp.

Johnson Central played Greenup County on 10-6 at home. JC won 49-7. Mason County played @ Greenup County on 10-13, one week after JC did and Mason County won 7-0. Did Greenup County get good in a week, or did Mason County have an off night? I hate to use that as a comparison, but it does make you wonder.

Only one back can carry the ball at a time. IF you stop Grimm, you dont stop the running game. The other backs are good, each has their own style of running And the QB and WR's are very good at passing and catching, they havent passed because they dont need to.

One thing I was glad to see last friday night was the JC played in the 1st half. They came out and hit Ashland in the mouth early. Usually JC is a 2nd half team. They have to come out in the 1st half like they did against Ashland. And for all those worrying about a let down in this game, it wont happen. If you cant get motivated to win... you dont need to be playing the game. Expecially if it is for the district title and home field play-off advantage.
