Cody Conley was the defensive player of the game. He was all over the place tonight. Micheal Tackett had some hits that left Ashland breathless... seriously.

From the kick off to final buzzer... JC dominated this game. This game was kind of boring (I hate to use that word.) But a win is a win... JC is 9-0. I was glad to hear the big air horn!

Everybody get out to the game tonight. Lets ALL hope for an injury free game, both teams show sportsmanship through out the game and may the best team win.

I wasnt a member of bluegrasspreps.com last year. I cant remember who it was, but an Ashland poster did post the directions to Putnam stadium for the game, so I will do the same for JC's field. If you take U.S. 23 south, get off at the first paintsville turn-off. That will put you on rt. 321. You will go through 3 red lights before you get to the school. The school sits on the left side of the road, the campus is pretty big so it will be easy to see.

And bring some blankets.

The game is supposed to start at 7:30. I dont know about what time the gates open. I would say around 5:30, but that is just a guess.

Eagleville is cold, but no rain so far today. We are under very couldy skies and some patchy fog. Hopefully those tarps on JC's field did their job this week.

For those of you on here that dont follow the ufc here is something that you might find interesting... Matt Hughes, Anderson Silva, Sean Sherk, Chuck Liddell and Tim Sylvia are the champions in their weight classes. And they all use xyience. You cant go wrong with xyience! :thumb:

JC has done pretty good this year on limiting their "stupid" penalities... (face mask, delay of game, false start, offsides, illeagal procedure.) JC has to do the same this week. JC has to protect the ball. They cant fumble or throw interceptions. Every time JC has the ball, they must get points on the scoreboard. If JC can do these things, JC will win this game.

And one little thing you forgot... the Matney magic!

Yes, Eddie Blair is still coaching the 8th grade Johnson County Middle School football team.

Checking the weather for friday night... http://www.weather.com is giving that we will have pm showers friday night with a temperature of around 50 degrees. Should be a good night for football, hopefully JC's field will hold up.

I love the Oldham County girl's gym. I have been in alot of gym's and that is my favorite.
