I know I have said some crazy things on here this season. On this thread, I will do my best to keep my posts limited. IMO, this is the biggest game in the history of Johnson Central football. The win at Boyd County when the 2000 team won the first district title was the biggest game in schools history. But this years team has the chance for a very deep play-off run. Friday night, there should be a huge crowd, both teams will be ready to play. This is what football is all about. Lets all hope for a injury free game, and may the best team win. I have faith in JC that they are going to do their talking on the field.

Johnson Central - 42 Ashland - 20 JC will keep their ground-n-pound style of offense with going Shawn Grimm, Ian Welch, Blake Johnson, Dennis Dillion, Chase Richardson, Nathan Dillion. Even though J.K. is back and he has some great targets to throw at, this game will be won on the ground.

Not the best teams to have your play-off fate it.

If I was on ESPN's gameday crew with Chris, Lee and Kirk... here would be my keys to the game. 1. Johnson Central has to have several long, clock eating-drives. 2. Limit stupid penalities (false starts, offsides, face masks, delay of game) 3. JC's defense has to force turnovers. 4. JC has to make the best use of their depth My Pontiac game changing performance: Micheal Tackett, He is going to have some major hits and be the leader on defense.

This will probably be the first game that Matney will leave in his starting offense and defense. JC has a great offense, but, I still believe JC's defense will win this game.

I picked this game on h.s.sportsrbest poll this week.

Good post JC Alumni 76... I believe that JC's defense and depth will put them 9-0 and 4-0 in the district. JC's offense will have to play keep away (which they can do) for the majority of the game. But Ashland is Ashland. This is going to be the best team JC has seen all year. This game needs to be on h.s.sportsrbest's game of the week poll.

I feel like Jim Caldwell from wymt... always giving the weather report on here. According to http://www.weather.com, we should have sunny skies tomorrow... but cold temperatures. It's showing about 40 degrees around kick-off. Break out the under armour cold gear, and the letterman jacket.

I personally would like to see JC play Belfry, Sheldon Clark, Rockcastle County, Bell County, Russell or anybody that wants to play. But for some reason, getting teams to play JC has been difficult now that they are winning games.
