  1. Nice win for Lincoln County. Impressed with their grittiness and solid play.
  2. You might be right. How does Manual recover from losing 9 points per game? Kimbro gives Manual a big lift with his height and rebounding when he returns. Manual is 4 - 0 since the departure and the last two games have been more points than Manual has scored in consective games in a long time.
  3. Tony Kimbro did not play last night due to an injury. Jacob Jenkins got it done with 11 points in the 4th quarter including clutch back to back 3s in the last minutes to seal it. Since Cosby's departure Manual has won 4 straight. Three coaches in three years has Manual learning another system. Coach Just is doing a great job and Manual will keep improving.
  4. Where does Setty have offers from at this time? Sounds like a gamer.
  5. Jordan Smart - Lexington Catholic Corey Sorrell - Cov Holy Cross Tyler Portwood - Scott County Jacob Jenkins - Manual Adam Delph - PRP
  6. You are definately right there. Especially on a messageboard that is dominated by eastern and central Kentucky posters. The only true opinions lie with college coaches and they disagree for the most part.
  7. Where have Hood and Jenkins' offers come from? A partial list for Hood includes (UT, WKU, UK, GA) Jenkins recently picked up (Wisconsin, Butler U, Dayton) and several more schools have been to Madisonville and Manual in the past weeks.
  8. I will go all juniors only and compete with these teams: PG Evan Faulkner 6-1 (Elliott) WG Jacob Jenkins 6-4 (Manual) WG Jon Hood 6-6 (Madisonville) PF Leonard Macon 6-5 (Danville) C Richie Phares 6-7 (Scott County) 2nd Team PG Russ Middleton 6-3 (Mason County) WG Jon Ferguson 6-2 (Elliott) SF Steven McFarland 6-4 (Boone) PF Darrin Ballou 6-7 (Adair) C Garrison Collins 6-9 (JBS) Reserves PG Ethan Faulkner 6-1 (Elliott) SF CJ Penney 6-4 (Anderson) PF Josh Crawford 6-4 (Corbin)
  9. I wouldn't sweat it. Smart is heading to play for Vandy in the SEC. The list are based on fan favorites and not necessarily the players that will be playing mid or high major hoops when they graduate. My guess is Smart would rather play D1 hoops in the SEC rather than be on this list.
  10. Maybe this helps... North Oldham lost to South Oldham. South Oldham lost to Christian Academy by 20. Christian Academy is ranked at the bottom of the 7th region. Elliott Cty wins this one.
  11. Scotty Hopson would need to be on any list with over a dozen D1 offers. Jon Hood (Madisonville) and Jacob Jenkins (Manual) both have 6 - 8 D1 offers apiece and should be on the list too.
  12. You mean it was 20 plus win for HC with Boyd missing and Moses playing less minutes than normal? That's interesting.
  13. Who did Rose Hill play the night before? What region was that team from? Isn't Henry Clay an 11th Region team?
  14. And had Elliott County played Christian County's schedule perhaps the same would be said of them.
  15. What part of Male's game do you like? What player do you think Shelby Valley will struggle with?
  16. You are correct. I wonder if the other Rose Hill players or parents outside of Euton and Jackson read these boards?
  17. They should move higher. What top 40 teams have they played and won?
  18. I agree. Just brush it under the rug and teach the rest of the high school kids that are doing things the right way that if you are a "great" player you can do these things and still get right back in the game. Afterall, basketball is much more important than some ole silly felony hanging over your head that involves drugs.
  19. Let's look further into the numbers. 44 team points Euton and Jackson 27 of the 44 points 17 points by all other players Euton and Jackson taking 29 shots (hitting only 8 of them for 27% shooting) Euton and Jackson combined for 2 assists verus 6 turnovers Perhaps its tougher for the other players to get involved if there are not enough looks for them based on the combined 2 assists between Euton and Jackson. Just an observation. Hopefully they will get better and should get better as time goes on.
  20. It's just interesting to see the rebounding stats are not 20 and 24 as they are normally reported from their regional games. The stats are from the book.
  21. You are correct in being biased... Actual stats: Chad Jackson's numbers as a point guard recruit were, 18 points, 6 for 12 shooting, 5 of 9 from the line. Has 2 assists versus his 3 turnovers. Dakotah Euton's numbers as a forward were 9 points, 2 for 17 shooting, 1 for 8 for threes, 8 rebounds, 1 block, 3 turnovers with no assists recorded.
  22. More proof that in the 6th, 7th, and 11th that you cannot take a game off or have an off night without running the risk off a loss no matter how good your team is. Congrats HC.
  23. There is no offense taken. The responses were expected.
  24. Fair enough. Yes, there's no question their an extremely good team and I would say they will be top 10 this year after they play and win some games against legit foes. Chilled.
