Wait a minute. According to a buddy of mine that was there and a report I read, Davin Anderson shot 3 of 18 for the game and had numerous turnovers. Clemmons made a ton of mistakes at the wrong time and was shooting bricks in the 2nd half and Brooks stood outside and did not hit the boards and be active in the paint second half. Doss shot 30% from the field as a team for the game. Coaching can be bad, but this team couldn't hit a shot and didn't take care of the ball.

PRP advances with Doss exiting postseason without any tourney titles, district or region. Brooks finishes with 15, but only 2 points in the 2nd half.

Senior Jon Vanhoose is set to go to D1 Evansville of the MVC conference. Mr. Basketball front-runner and senior Steffphon Pettigrew now has offers from UMass and Bradley while Kentucky is looking at him amongst others. Junior Scotty Hopson of UHA is committed to Mississippi State. Sophomore Jacob Jenkins has visited Kentucky and scout.com reported Jenkins was visiting Indiana and was behind the bench for the Indiana vs Michigan game. Bud Mackey has already committed to play for Indiana. Senior Twany Beckham of Louisville Ballard is signed with D1 school IUPUI. Ty Proffitt is headed to Notre Dame. Players such as Preston Knowles, Shelvin Mack, and Tanner Jacobs are all having their names mentioned for D1 schools. Is this only the start of Kentucky's talent pool flourishing and providing top talent to colleges? Hopefully the attention will help put more Kentucky kids in position to play at the next level along with getting a free education. Some of my colleagues believe this trend will stay on the upswing and rightfully so.

Scott County is murdering Mason on the boards but Mason hold a huge advantage at the free throw line. Mackey and Lee in foul trouble. Poor 3 point shooting by SC has also contributed to keeping Mason in this one

Points per game means very little. You have kids that could be averaging twice what they are for various reasons. Do you think Austin Hill would average 25 a game playing for Scott County? Would Clark Stepp get 20 a game for Ballard? Some top teams just blow out their comp early and the coach sits his starters. Those players that get 15 points in a just a half of play could have gotten 30 or more if the coach keeps them in.

Doesn't look like just Wins and Losses either. You have teams with losing records ranked higher than those with 2, 3, and 4 games above .500. The rankings do not make sense. And the rankings do not make one team better than the other either.

McGee is proof you don't have to be quick or be able to jump to score and rebound. He is a bit over-weight but seemed to use it to his advantage. He barely leaves the ground, so his game does not compare to Barkley's in the least. But nevertheless, he had a solid game tonight. Pettigrew was all alone in this game. He was even their press-breaker tonight. He did it all.

Manual is 3 - 0??? Wow. Seneca only lost to Louisville Male by 2 and BGP had Manual picked low at #10 in the 7th region. A coaching buddy of mine was saying Jacob Jenkins is having a very solid early year so far and has been leading with 18 ppg per game and is one of top 2 assist leaders. He also mentioned Cosby is coming along strong too. It will be interesting to see if Manual can keep this up and possibly hit the state's Top 25 soon. Not bad for a very young Manual team playing an erly tough schedule.
