The score of this game was not any indication of how it was played. GC's game plan was to control the ball and they did just that. They moved the ball all night but couldn't get anything going once they were in the Red Zone. The Rams defense bent but never broke and they made the big plays when they had to. GC shot themselves in the foot with their own mistakes but I think the Rams physical defensive play had a lot to do with that. Raceland got another great effort by the DC Express and the passing game kept the GC defense guessing. Rams had two TD's called back and made some mistakes that you shouldn't be making this time of the year but the good thing is that those mistakes can be corrected and I'm sure the coaching staff will see that gets fixed. The scary thing is that this was not one of Raceland's best games and they still won by 34. Nice win Rams, stay focused and keep believing!!!! Best of luck to Greenup County the remainder of the season.

I guess my hearing was bad back then too. I didn't think he could hear me. However, I soon learned that your coach didn't have to hear you, he knew what you were going to say before you said it. Believe me, it was a valuable lesson.:eek:

Matt McKnezie was one of the toughest players to play at Raceland. He played extremely well from his LB position. Fun player to watch and he gave 110% on every play.

Congrats to the Rams on a big win!!!!! One of the most exciting games I have ever watched. I didn't think the pass defense played that bad but did have a couple of occassions where it appeared assigments were blown. I'm sure the coaching staff will be at work tomorrow to correct that. The Ram defense forced Whitt out of the pocket but he does an excellent job throwing on the run and the LCA WR's do a great job of continuing their routes. I can't say enough about the DC Express. They continue to roll behind a great effort by the O-line. John Scott Carver ran like a man on a mission. I also thought C. Kelley had a good game at LB. Loren Huffman also came in and made a nice catch to keep the Rams drive going. As Ram mentioned,hats off to Tate Preston. Congrats on the FG under tough pressure. Your hard work is paying off. Enjoy the win this week-end and get back to work on Monday. Stay focused.

:thumb: I agree 100%. Although Hayden has been the focal point in the LCA offense they do have other options to go to if the need arises. I have stated before that Whitt is a dandy QB and can beat you with his running ability as well as throwing the ball. I'm certain we will see something from LCA that we haven't seen all year so the Ram defense must come prepared for everything. I am confident that the Rams coaching staff has them ready for the unexpected. This game should be a good one. I hope all players play injury free.
