Congrats to the young Rams, guys you are the future as well as the Jr. high all the way down through the JFL.

I believe that this keeps the Raceland JV unbeaten as well as the varsity Rams doesn't it?

Congratulations to the JV Rams. They are now 5-0. I don't think we will have any drop off next season on the Varsity.

With that said, Raceland's sophomore class is doing very well, with some help from the freshman class.

Raceland will be good but not great like this season. Many teams will be able to beat them next season that aren't close this season. No way Raceland is better next season than this season. Too much senior experience, strength, etc. with the seniors they will lose. They will be good but nothing like this special group they have this season. You only get one of these teams once every so often especially at a single A school.

You mean like the 2006 team that won the District Championship and lost to eventual State Champion NCC, with an overall record of 11-2.

And, honestly, the 1A thing means nothing. There are several 1A programs that produce great success year after year. If you build it, they will come.

Excellent points:thumb:. I believe that there have only been 4 losing seasons at Raceland since they began playing football. I do not it is fair to compare this year to next year or this year to 2006. Bigugly is right about one thing, this is a special group of seniors but until the season is over, we do not know where they fit with the ones who have played before. Good luck the rest of the season to varsity and junior varsity. May we put you down as the best team ever at RWHS? Only the players can define that with their play on the field throughout the rest of the season.

:thumb: I cannot count the years that when the seasons end came we were all saying something like.."man, we are going to be down next season" or something to that effect. Then what happens more often than not Raceland comes back with another very good team. We have our down years like anyone else, just not that many.
