I think it may hinder performances by the kids that participate in more than one event. When my son was in high school he participated in the 110 high hurdles, 300 hurdles, pole vault, and high jump. He said going from one event to the other was not that tiresome but by the end of the day it took it's toll on the legs. Having to qualify and then compete in the finals on the same day IMO will have an affect on the times and heights.

WLGC announced that todays games have been cancelled. (baseball & softball) The games have been rescheduled for tomorrow but I do not have the times.

Nice article on Martin and well deserved. Peyton has been a great role model for the younger players and has represented the Raceland program with nothing but class. I wish him the best.

I like the passing camps. It gives the QB and WR's a chance to work on timing and allows WR to learn route running. It also give the DB's an excellent chance to work on pass coverage and improve foot work.

Congrats to the Rams on the win. Nice game by Raceland's Peyton Martin who went 4-4 at the plate with 2 RBI's and stole four bases. Martin received the Player Of The Game Award. Bobby McKee also belted a two-run home run in the Rams win.
