LexCath's Winston Guy
Cath fans. Who's better in football, Guy or Revere?

LexCath's Winston Guy
Wow! Completely not true. The truth is UK thinks that the out-of-state athlete is better because of the reputation of other states being so-called football states. Also, Kentucky athletes are looked down at by other states. Every athlete from within these borders should play with a chip on their shoulders because of this.

What Is The Weakest District In The State?
Is their a district that has no past state champions?

What Is The Strongest District In The State?
The Lexington district is the toughest. Teams beat on each other so bad, they can't win state.

If you play Somerset this season...
Depends on where he lines up. Some coaches line up their best WR in the slot for mismatches.

2007 Madison Central
I know the have alot of good skill players returning from last year. By the way, "the King has returned.

The Streak...
I think that if a team were to get close, then they should have Trinity scheduled as the poss. 50th win or 51st. WOW, what a game that would be.

Team Entrances
I'd have to say PLD when the home uni's were all black. INTIMIDATING !

Explosive players that have come out of Lexington?
Burke would definately go in the QB category, but not explosive. Did a really good job of getting the ball to the explosive players they had though.:ylsuper:

What do the Lexington 6A schools need to do...
The Big 3 are more discipline than the Lexington schools and their coaches don't have super large egos.

Biggest Rivalries
Dunbar vs. Scott Co., Tates Creek, Bryan Station. Catholic and Christian, I wouldn't really consider rivals. They've only played once and that was an absolute bashing by the Knights.

Top WR's this year in '07
This is true, but it also affects coverage skills too.

U of L 7 on 7 Tourney
Congrats to Manual on winning the UofL 7on7 tourney.

What do the Lexington 6A schools need to do...
Why do you keep inviting people down to see Hensley? Is he superior to everyone? You might invite the wrong person to his office one day so be careful. Besides, he's in pretty good shape, but how did that help last year's 2-8 season? I sure hope you're right about his personal workout and I really hope it produces something good on the friday nights.

What do the Lexington 6A schools need to do...
Open enrollment is clearly not the answer. Coaching at all public levels in Fayette Co. need to improve. The peewee level is full of stud oriented coaches and the middle schools are too. May the best stud win! Then the high schools have stubborn coaches who act as if they win state every year and don't do anything different, so they're easily scoutable. The "it worked then, it should work now" coaches.

Kentucky HS Basketball movie
I would go with Scott Co. and ask Toyota to sponsor it.

What do the Lexington 6A schools need to do...
I personally think that T and X win most of their games of coaching and preparation. This isn't limited to the week of the opponent, but to offseason workouts and togetherness. I don't think the boundaries have all that much to do with it. Some of those kids that attend and live a great distance away from the school are Pebbles of former Rocks, Kittens of former Tigers. The aw of their state championships and what everyone says they are wins a high percentage of in-state games the saturday before.

Will Raceland Change its offensive philosophy
I don't think they need to change from what I've seen of them. I think they should go with the no-huddle alot more.

When do you think Lexington will compete?
This point of Louisville vs. Lexington can only be proven on the football field. Ratings, personal belief, another man's credit, etc. means nothing. Games and final outcomes determine all, that's why the game is played. Trinity is the ONLY school since '00 in Louisville that has proven to be superior to Lexington schools when it matters the most, state playoffs. As for the other schools, I'm not saying that either is better because it hasn't come up on the field. Maybe one day it will. But until that day, everyone is in the same pot. Chasing the Trinity Shamrocks and nobody else. That's the reality that all teams in class 6A face every year.

When do you think Lexington will compete?
That's nice that PepRock01 said that. Real nice. Nothing against PR, but is he a god to you or something? Should I believe it because he said it? Like you said, "everyone makes mistakes". PR, that district does have quite a few state titles, but doesn't the former 3A, now 5A, district in NKY have more?

When do you think Lexington will compete?
Okay Ram, I'm sorry. He just said it. He said it was because the district was tough. What a joke! :sssh:
-
When do you think Lexington will compete?
Yep, but nobody has it harder than Manual, who doesn't even win the first round match-up half the time. They should be comparing themselves to that district before challenging ours.

When do you think Lexington will compete?
I highlighted that because if you paid attention, he turned right around and used the same excuse a couple of sentences later.
