It's really getting outrageous. Just because they're in your district and beat you yearly doesn't mean you are being competitive. If that is so, then Lexington is being competitive with Trinity (The State Champs) yearly.

No. Please stop including Manual and PRP. Trinity as I will state again, is not the only program that is better than Lexington, but the only one to consistently prove they are better than Lexington. But hey, lets sooth ourselves by attacking Lexington not being better than Louisville because we in Louisville with the exception of a X or Male aren't doing anything and are grouping ourselves with T, X, and Male, but not competing on even the regional level.

We are where we are, just like you are where you are so I wouldn't complain about it. The thing is you actually get a break. Lexington schools see Trinity at their best (state semi's). You guys see them in the regular season when they are fine tuning for that state-semi/ state championship, we see them in late Nov. at full throttle.

See, this is the problem with Manual fans. They dropped out of the "Male Game", that's it. But I knew sooner or later, someone would try and stamp Manual's name in with it somewhere. WOW!

They also bare out that a Lexington has had more playoffs success than almost all of the Louisville schools except T, X, and Male, no one else. So an appropriate thread would be when will Lexington compete with those three instead of Louisville as a whole. The rest of Lou. is average.

Manual has also been rated higher than teams that have beaten them also, so what's your point? Ratings are nothing. In '05 X beat T by 32 points only to lose to them when it matters most: that thing called "The State Championship game" . You have nothing still.

Didn't say Trinity is the only thing keeping Lexington schools from winning state, but if you look very closely at the playoff brackets, they are keeping Lexington schools from reaching the finals. WOW, did you discover something. Regardless of who plays who closer, losing is losing, and it doesn't heal until you win. Some people are looking for moral victories instead of actual ones.

By the way, Manual would probably never do that here. They are not on that level.

The two catholic schools in Lou., T and X, Lexington has not been able to beat either since the late 90's. Male is competitive and star oriented yes, but they're very similar to the Lexington schools in the way they overuse their studs. I think there have been quite a few years that Male would've lost here, more so than Trinity or St. X. They've had some really good teams that would've cleaned house too, just not as many as T and X.

NO, because like you said the "rest of the state" (not just the wonderful world of Louisville) see Trinity as the clearcut front-runner in football. Do you understand standard, because that's what they are. Its not Louisville high school football, its Trinity followed by Highlands, X, Male, Danville, Boyle, Beechwood, etc. sorry if I missed a few. Out of the few I missed "none and I mean none" of them are Louisville schools. That pretty much sums up KY football.

I was saying that X is close, and if you count "the overall decider (State Champs) Male is in their too, but not as close as X. I figured the thing about Manual would strike a nerve. Again, truth hurts. Manual is not even in the same sentence, though they've had "REGULAR SEASON" success against the team, I as well as everyone else, still has to put Trinity at the top. Lesser degree than Trinity! What doesn't say that about all the fans of other teams that ride the backs of the BIG 2, Medium 1? If surface is STATE TITLES and STATE CHAMPS, then call it what you want. I know that regardless of what happens during the "REGULAR SEASON", since some are dwelling on the "REGULAR SEASON SUCCESS", that there's this Magical "Day in December" that is the ultimate decider and most of the time the Trinity Shamrocks have owned that day this decade and in history as a whole.

There's no problem with the run here. Besides, we have Tates Creek and the backs there carry the ball 40-60 times a game and all week in practice, sometimes even in school, the school bus, while doing homework, and in the bed. :thumb:

Yes, Lexington and NKY does see Trinity more because they seem to always win state as of late in our respective class, so its NOT PERCEPTION. How could you poss. see the team that is dominating the class in the overall decider (STATE CHAMPS) this decade as being anything but the best. They (Trinity ALONE) are the standard in the most populated high school football class in the state of KY. Even if you want to go back in the record books. When you think of 4A now 6A football in KY, Trinity pops up almost by themselves. X is notable, but they are turning the Bluegrass "GREEN".

Nothing against Manual, just against the people who try to categorize them in even close with the "big 2" and "medium 1". I can see why you would say that though. The truth hurts. Everyone has to deal with it.

What information gives you the ideal that in the past three years that Manual was better than Lou. Central? I think there are quite a few that will disagree on that one.
