Male pretty much has always had tremendous talent as starters and players who will become tremendous starters. Will become, not present! Lots of two-way plaers in great shape. I think the "Rocks" have figured out the answer to this question by using depth and discipline. You can't say that the players who became good and contributed later in great quantities were as good at the time because they weren't. Bush was good as a frosh, legendary as a jr. and sr.

I think for what they've accomplished in the little bit of time of their existence, I would say they're an elite team in this year's class A. Other teams may have enjoyed more success in the past, but they've also had football alot longer than LCA also. Would you say Ryle was an elite 4 or 6A TEAM?

The year before last. NCC and maybe Danville were the only teams that were gonna beat them in class A that year. And it wasn't because the two mentioned had more talent, but i think poss. better decision-making.

Didn't know much about what Henderson had coming back. Just figured they are a perrenial power in the west.

They are pretty good. I forgot about those two.

This is the year for LCA to climb back into class-A's elite. They were extremely young last year and slower. This year will be diff. on reynolds rd., but a state title might have to wait another year.

I'd pick HHS. They were a seasoned state championship team and had probably more depth.

I think HC has done pretty well these past couple of years in terms of the big 3. They lost to the champs both times and other than the champs, I don't think any of the other two could've beaten them. Actually, in '02 and '03, I think the same thing was true about the Dunbar-Trinity scenario. T has the right formula to beat HC on any given night because despite having talent in the secondary, HC has never been really good at defending the pass. I don't think the teams in Lex. see it as the big 3, but rather Trinity and two other teams that are good and could poss. win state, but no one expects them too. It's really split here.

On the news casts I saw, he clearly looked like he was in, but oh well. The best team won because they won.

If TM has all of those problems with special teams, then HHS could beat them. The HHS teams I remember have had tremendous special teams play.

My judgement if T is state titles. If you compare that time frame to before it and after it, then my coment makes sense. X should've lost in '99, but thats another story on why they didn't. hint: catch in the back of the endzone.

I think that at the present and at times during the past, beating T and X would be a requirement for a great run, but when I was in high school, T wasn't that good and X seemed good but not great.
