beat Trotwood Madison?

TM looks to have more D1 talent than some recent UK teams so how in the world can the Birds hang with the Rams?

Give us some details about their D1 talent.

I noticed that the information given from the other thread about this event listed the HHS-TM game as "tentative." Is this game going to happen for sure?

As for the topic, I thought I heard that last year's TM team was loaded but did not do well in the playoffs. If this is true then there's other issues besides pure talent at play.

I will say this... if Dale had this much raw talent to work with, look out!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a decent challenge for the Birds.

The TM O-line could be an issue going against what is likely to be a strong defense.

Can HHS come up with another good o-line? If so, we've got a strong ballgame IMO.

Well Highlands must have one of their better teams this year, or they wouldn't be playing Trotwood.

That said, you Northern Kentucky guys may remember when a little team from Indy came down and faced Elder in the 2003 Ryle Fest. This game may be a similar result.

Yeah i never seen a team with that many D1 players with a overall losing record since 2000. They must play a brutal schedule!!!!!!

If I remember correctly, they opened up last year at St X and got their hats , among other things, handed to them.

I used to live near Trotwood, when i was younger, they were never really a power house while i was there. I have kept in contact with people i know from up there and they say that they are goin g to have a great year. While I was up there a team named Xenia was always they powerhouse and so was Centerville, where AJ Hawk played his high school ball. Highlands has a good shot at them, I Beleive. If highlands plays their own type of football and doesnt let TM inpose their will then look out TM becuase Highlands is a good team and can not be taken lightly.

Did not play St. X last year.

Fact is thats they play in a very tough league. And had been down except for a year or two.

But in the past few years they have done a great job of cultivating talent and had some move ins from other schools, and some private school kids who have came back to their home school.

Xenia has NEVER been a powerhouse. TM added 2 new coordinators last year, and that has ben the bigest difference in their play. They have not had an offense that could score until last year. Those coaches have a lot to do with the revival, and the great clases coming through right now.

Come on, impose their will.......you, me and 9 other guys have a shot vs the Colts if we dont let them impose their will on us. That statement is a little dramatic don't you think.......

I am sure he was talking about Highlands playing Louisville St. X.

I don't think so. Highlands did not open with Louisville St. X and when Highlands did play Louis. St. X at Paul Brown, in know way did they get their hats handed to them.
