As for the topic, I thought I heard that last year's TM team was loaded but did not do well in the playoffs. If this is true then there's other issues besides pure talent at play.

IN the playoffs, TM lost 2 starting OL. Had the KO Return man put his knee down on the TM 1 yrd line. 2 punts of 20 yards or less. And a blocked punt.

Some crazy stuff happened that game. TM beat that team 34-0 earlier in the year at their place.

Last season, new coordinators, so the O and D were totally new. Given that, this year they will be better.

Well, even if it's not a very competitive game, I do like the scheduling. In the past I have been critical of HHS scheduling very tough opponents, and the main reason was that they didn't play just one or two very, very tough non-dsitrict games, but several. I think that was overkill. Odds are that HHS will not face a team in KY this year with as much talent as T-M, and with the game being very early (second game), it will allow the 'Birds to get a good picture of their strengths and weaknesses, with the rest of the season to work on the deficiencies. Plus, it's quite an honor to be involved in the Herbie, and I still say that it's much better for us to be playing T-M than Colerain.

Also, Ram Attack, what is the formal name of Trotwood-Madison. Is it hyphenated, like the way I just wrote it?

I would love to have seen them play in the past five years or so I bet the breds win two or three!!

I am sure that HHS would have been more than happy to have scheduled those games and you would not have to speculate on the chances.......

I bet your way wrong......... Just look at what Cov Cath does to you guys every year.. I believe it would be a similar beating...

Highlands - NewCath seems like a natural rivalry. Why don't they play?

It's a long story....basically Bob won't play the Birds..

How long a story can it be? NewCath plays CovCath, why not the Birds?

Look at what CovCath does, and then look at the fits Beechwood gives CovCath, and NewCath and Beechwood always play close. You can't compare games. For the record, Highlands v. NewCath is a much better match-up than CovCath v. NewCath.

Not the Birds. Bob won't play Mueller.

We have offered to play them every year. I don't think it will happen with Bob still there. I heard the deal Dale offered them was a great deal (not going into it now) but wasn't offered to any other school, and still no game.

I truly believe that as long as Bob and Mueller are the head coaches, nothing will change.
