Will anyone ever break Trinity's 50 game winning streak record?

 

Honestly the more I see competition improving across the state of Kentucky the more I doubt it will happen. Too many good teams out there for it to happen in my opinion.

I think it will be broken due to the decrease in competition due to the new 6-A class system.

I agree that it will happen but I do not see it happening in the top 6A classification not even in the 5A to much competition in these classes once you get to the playoffs, not to mention most of these teams will be playing strong out of class teams or for that matter out of state teams just to fill out the ten game season.

I'm thinking about Mayfield, Danville, Beechwood, etc., whichever school is in the worst class.

I never drink coffee. I think my Dew hadn't kicked in yet.

Beechwood probably has a shot, although I know very little about other teams in their class. Then again, if they continue to schedule CovCath and other top NKY teams, then I doubt it.

I think it can be done as well. There have been too many teams come close (Breathitt, Boyle, Danville) to fall short in the end. I agree with the other posters that it will most likely happen in the 1-3A divisions if it does happen.

It probably will be broken eventually. Boyle County came close a few years ago, but the record has stood for over 15 years. It will be unlikely to occur in the 6A classification because Male, Trinity and St. X will cancel one another out every couple of years. I could see Belfry or Breathitt County or Mayfield turning the trick, but it will not be easy. Danville and Beechwood will have a hard time breaking it, Danville because they play Boyle County and Beechwood because of the strength of their schedule.

It will not be broken. My class started the streak.

I think there is less of a chance it's broken in the 6 class system. No more 8 teams districts with one big dog and a bunch of pups. The top programs will be playing more top programs across the board, so the streak should be safe for a while IMO...

I think that if a team were to get close, then they should have Trinity scheduled as the poss. 50th win or 51st. WOW, what a game that would be.

It will be a difficult task. Undefeated for the better part of 4 seasons. But, I would never say never to it happening.
