  1. But keep in mind the same kids will be playing for ludlow varsity next year and so on...so if Bellevue beat those kids this year, it would make sense to say that they have a really good chance to beat Ludlow next year and so on. Also even though Ludlow did win this year, its amazing that Bellevue still had the opportunity to win. This is testament to Bellevue's toughness and Ludlow lack of ability to put the game away.
  2. I just think that Holy Cross will come into this game a little over confident. With beating NCC last week, I am sure Koz and the boys think that they are on their way to Louisville right now. Due to this mentality I am picking Bellevue in a dog fight. I am still going with the 23-17 score
  3. I think Bellevue will come out playing with some fire after a game I am sure they think they should have won. I think Holy Cross will come out a little over confident after beating NCC. So I will pick Bellevue to win this one Bellevue 23 Holy Cross 17
  4. I agree with some of the posts on here....Ludlow physically dominated the game, they beat up some Bellevue players and racked up a ton of yards. But the beauty of football is Bellevue still had a chance to win this game, but failed to convert on their goaline opportunity. Congrats to Ludlow and to Bellevue for playing such a hard fought, physical game. Coach Borchers is doing a great job with the Panthers and Coach Eckstein is doing a great job with the Tigers. I will stand by my statement when I predicted this game...This one should be aired on ESPN CLASSIC.
  5. I'll pick the Greendevils with this one. Who does Dayton play next week? I am just curious...I don't want to change the topic of the thread. Just curious
  6. Sounds like a good win for the Tigers....makes for a good weekend. Who coaches the Tigers JV team?
  7. I will agree with just about everyone on here in saying that this game will be a dog fight from whistle to whistle. Both teams have their respective advantages to this game. But when all is said and done, I do not believe that Ludlows kids who are tough and gritty kids just like Bellevue, won't be tough and gritty enough to win this game. I will pick Bellevue in a close game. Bellevue 20 Ludlow 14 The key to this game is Bellevue will win the turnover battle and the toughness battle. This should be a game that ESPN CLASSIC should air.
  8. Tonight's final will be BELLEVUE 60 ESTILL 7 (scored on the freshman late in the fourth)
  9. I always think that teams need to tie into their traditions and past. This will be a good way for current and future Bellevue Tigers, to have the opportunity to tie into that past and tradition of all the Bellevue greats.
  10. Do you remember the movie the Program? The steriod guy painting his face like an Indian going to war and like a Skeleton-like thing. I am kinda on the fence here, what this kid has isn't too bad, but the mention of the KISS make-up is too extreme and I would have to say no to that, even though KISS ROCKS!
  11. Everyone should come out and see these festivities. I have heard that Bellevue High School is bringing back 7 or 8 athletes that were on the 1936 BHS football. This should be a fun evening on top of the Tigers downing Ludlow in a big win.
  12. I would like to see Bellevue redeem themselves this week and rack up some yards on offense and put some points on the board, it would be great if the defense would pitch a shutout.
  13. I will pick Lloyd in this one, in a very close game Lloyd 13 Dayton 12
  14. Does anyone have predictions for this game. I have heard Estill is not very good and after taking a thrashing last week to Indian Hill. I am going to pick the Tigers in a blowout:ylsuper: BELLEVUE 49 ESTILL 7
  15. Yep the game is Friday Night at 730pm, in what we call FANCYLAND.
  16. Bellevue High School, changed their home jerseys. Coach Eckstein added more yellow to the home jersey. The yellow is across the shoulder pads. They look great....now they need to get rid of the plain away jerseys
  17. I know that Coach Eckstein, will not let the Tigers play sloppy this week. Bellevue 25 Indian Hill 13
  18. I heard that he had something like 40 carries for around 150 years on offense and made a handful of tackles on defense (don't know exact # though).
  19. Like the guy from Animal House?
  20. I think it was last year....if I am not mistaken, I think Eckstein missed a game because of a staph infection.
  21. I think Newport will contain Dayton's QB, therefore, I say Newport wins 21-12.
  22. From what I saw of the game, Bellevue played as bad as they could have..I'll chalk it up to first game jitters or being a week behind Shawnee. Bellevue's Offense can definitely eat up some clock. Bellevue's QB was Huninghake, he throw the ball twice (I think). Not sure how true this is, but talking to some people who were at both scrimmages and this game, said the QB is responsible for all the points Bellevue has given up. On a good note...the Defense scored a saftey and pitched a shutout...Who is the D-coordinator? he is doing a great job.
