As we all have said this position should have been filled along time ago. I know the administration cares about the program that's why the previous coach was let go.....they can't help no one has applied

Bobby Burns is going to be good, but I heard Adam Bowling tore his ACL, so he is out. I think the team will be good. Obviously lost a lot of speed, but Justin Ross is returning and so is Adam Tague. I heard through the grapevine that there could be a little quarterback controversy this year

I heard the AD is coaching the team at the summer team camps....is that the case??

I just think it is safe to say that all parties involved (AD, prinicipal, etc.) in this debacle should take the blame for any lack of success the team/coaches will have this year. This whole situation could take the team from having a successful season this past year to what could be the worst season ever. But I'll keep my fingers crossed the new guy can keep the programs success where it has been.

I know it wasn't that way when Charlie was there, he made sure all the athletic decisions were taken care of

I seriously doubt that the Principal in the High School is waiting for Wolfzorn to leave before he posts the job. Somehow I think that Wolfzorn has zero bearing on the job any more.

Coach Dawn is a great guy, I'm glad to see him back on the bench. BTW is his son still playing at Marshall?

I agree with this statement. It may not be the most qualified coach or experienced but I think a community guy will be the choice for the job whether it be a teacher or a para professional.

I know Nick and his family pretty well....Nick does have his teaching degree and I am fairly certain that he just got hired on at Bellevue to teach next year. I think he teaches the younger aged kids, but I am not sure on that.

Batsche would be a great head coach....I think it would almost be like having Swaugs back on the bench stomping his foot and calling the plays. He would bring the program back to the level it was at with Swaugs.

Talking to a close friend of Swaugs....I heard Swaugs wants a Bellevue Boy to get the job. That he is not too happy with the coaching carousel going on with the sports programs at Bellevue.

Let him celebrate if he would get the job. He is a good guy that will really help out the school, team, and the students he teaches. Also I know that he would be the guy that would stay 25 years in the school and do what he can to make it a better place.

I haven't heard anything, so I am curious....has Coach Wolfzorn signed on to coach at another school yet?

I just hope who ever the new coach is will get the support of the school, community, players, and peers

What I meant was if it is a new guy and first year coach, then his playing experience should count just as much as another guy's previous coaching experience.

So all in all does there seem to be one candidate that is being pursued more than any others. Obviously it seems like there is no front runner. Also do you think the former player might have more pull, being a "Tiger", etc.
