You were close, it was 22 to 5 in favor of Whitley, that is a tough man to man full court and not foul. I know at one point it was 7 fouls Williamsburg to 1 Whitley, and Williamsburg was in a zone.

Williamsburg was so devestated by him, bless their heart, I bet Coach Herron loses sleep at night thinking what if he had this student athlete, or maybe it didn't phase Williamsburg, as they made it to the second round of the playoffs, for 4 out of the last five years. But I look for Whitley to be better than 2-8, this up coming year, and wish coach Black nothing but the best.

Well, my projects have been pretty close with the exception of Knox Central, I don't think that they are playing well right now. The biggest surprise for me is Lynn Camp, losing their best player from a year ago. They are over achieving. The top 5 are 1/2 Cumberland; Corbin: heads and shoulders above everyone else right now! 3. Pineville: Coach Strange has the boys playing well 4. Jackson Co: They are making some noise and on tape they can play some ball. 5. South Laurel: I give this to them out of respect of the past. 6. Bell Co. Have a solid 5, my question is what happens when they get into foul trouble. Take it for what it is worth!

I would not change a thing on Whitley's schedule, they once again need to play these type of teams, please make sure that you read my post, I have stated from the beginning that I thought Whitley's schedule was fine. If that bothers anyone I am sorry.

Williamsburg runs the spread!

Excellent post Duke. Whitley is playing the type of schedule that most schools within 20 miles are playing, with sometimes 6X the number of students!!! Again, I will say what they are doing is great for that program, it will prepare them to do well in the region!

Wow, so defensive on this one, sorry didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, call it what you will, and I am glad to see that people are still talking about the "area schools", man what jealously we have... at any rate, I see Corbin with 700 to 900 students playing such a weak schedule, (there is sarcasm in this) compared to a school with 1200 students, again, I said I never blamed Whitley for their schedule, they are a powerhouse, I hope to see them in the all A

1998-2000 had blue in their uniforms

Whitley is playing a lite schedule but due to the youthfulness I can not blame them!

The true story of Williamsburg and Blue started in the early 70's with the majorite uniform was outlined in a blue. Bill Allison did it, as an outline with the orange. In the early 90's the band uniforms started to have blue in them more present, then the other sports followed suit, but for the record, the school charter says Orange and White.

If the whitley and corbin score was any indication, then I am going to go with Corbin by 12+

Depends if the refs protect St. Johns, which they do on SL home court, SL wins! If people are allowed to play defense, like Whitley did, Corbin will win! So it all comes down to the big kid in the middle! I like Corbin's chances in this one!

Williamsburg against Campbellsville was a great one, the second time around!

Whitley was down 30 with 3:00 to play against Corbin without Crawford, therefore, It will not be a good not for the WC, but better days are ahead
