Danville looking really good. Going to take a great game by a team to knock them off.

Wow!! A lot closer than thought this one would be.

I would love to see it and think that there is a good chance it will happen. Mayfield vs. Danville if finals. These two have met many times in the finals in the past, would be good to see it again.

Maybe a let down after the big win last week?

Danville's D was very good again tonight, but didn't think they played as well offensively as they have been, and still scored 41. This team could make a deep run. Will be fun to watch.

No way he had a 100 yards.

This could be the question the last few times Boyle and Catholic have played. Players usually get the credit/blame in the blowout win or loses and Coaches get the credit/blame in the close wins or loses. Just the way it is.

Feel sorry for Western Hills in this one. I don't think the starters will need to be playing in the second half of this game either.

Only chance LCA has if the can successfully throw the football some. If the just try to line up and run the ball at Danville they have know shot.

How many times have Danville and Mayfield faced each other in the State Championship game? I know it was several times back in the late 80's and early 90's.

No way Boyle Co. is better than St. X this season.

If their not in the state finals game this year I think it will be a disappointment for this team.

Danville is alot better than what some people think. Best team the ADS have put on the field in last 7-8 years. If they can stay healthy i believe they will make a deep run in the playoffs.

Danville is a much better team this year. Best team they have had in 7 or 8 years. The biggest improvement in my opinion is on the defensive side of the ball.

Finals. Would love to see Mayfield and Danville in the Finals. I think that would be a great game. It would bring back alot of memories. How many times have they played in the finals? I can think of at least 4.

I believe so. I was told another plan is already being drawn up. Only change is that classification would only be for sports that have 9 or more starters on the field. So i guess that would include baseball, softball, football, boys soccer and girls soccer. That way it keeps away from basketball and messing with the KHSAA's sweet 16.

I'd like to see a 4 class system. Similar to old football one.

You think Title Town (Danville and Boyle Co.) would exists in football if there wasn't classification? No way, they might only have 1-2 each instead of 10 and 7 each. If we went to classifying baseball maybe we would see some communities become Title Towns in baseball. What would be wrong with that?

Merger will never happen. There is just as many kids moving into Danville as there is moving out. The 6th grade and 8th grade classes are two of the biggest Danville has had in a while. Lots of talent coming as well 5,6,and 7 grades have some really good football and baseball players. Will be fun to watch.

In the last 25 years there has only been one 1A or 2A sized school to win a baseball State Championships in KY. That was LCA in 2005, a private school. So basically if you are that size of a school you go into the season knowing you don't have a realistic chance to compete for a State Championship, and the #1 reason is because of the number of kids to pick from to field a team.

I would like to see Bell and Rock play. I believe that would be a pretty good game.

The same stuff we have been getting from the KHSAA for the last 10 years on this. I'm so tired of them always bringing up basketball when this topic comes up. This should have been voted on for whats best for our players and the baseball programs in our state not basketball and $. When you have something like 46 of the States that do classify baseball and we are one of the only few that don't it makes you feel like the KHSAA is holding back the development of our baseball programs and players. I wouldn't be surprised in the near future if someone from a smaller school brings litigation against the KHSAA for them not having an equal chance to compete. Could be an interesting argument.
