Scoring leaders for the class of 2018 Varsity level
Not surprised. Every college coach I have talked to, they love recruiting the multi-sport athletes. Selfish high school coaches, selfish club coaches, and short sighted parents are the ones that have pushed the concept of the one sport athlete. I am not judging those that just play one sport for the sake of playing one sport, that's not where I am going with this.

Scoring leaders for the class of 2018 Varsity level
I have seen all of these young ladies play, and they are all very nice players with a lot of promise ahead of them.

Scoring leaders for the class of 2018 Varsity level
Not necessarily a good thing, in my opinion. Playing a sport "year round" is ok, but limiting oneself to one sport for the sake of trying to get a scholarship is a bit short sighted in my opinion. But, to each his/her own.

Gallatin County's Hannah Dossett records her 2000th point
The current order would be current Gallatin coach Holly Roberts Howell 2,652 pts(Class of 1998), Beth Williamson Morton 2,124 pts (Class of 1997), Brooke Dossett 2,117 pts(Class of 2014), and Hannah Dossett 2,008 pts(Class of 2015) . Unique that Holly and Beth were teammates, as were Brooke and Hannah.

Is the 8th Region a two-horse race?
Understand that the 2 best on paper are SK and Shelby in my opinion. There are about 6 others that are a notch below them. But, like I said, the game is not played on paper.
