Impressive no doubt. There is a massive amount of talent in the class 2018..IMO it has a lot to do with the AAU programs. Seems to me like this group has more kids that are 1 sport athletes that play their sport year round.

This list encompasses the 2018 group in the 8th-9th-10th Regions. Besides, you folks in Lou. Metro area don't care about Northern Ky! (JUST A JOKE PEOPLE DONT GET ALL WORKED UP!!LOL)

Not necessarily a good thing, in my opinion. Playing a sport "year round" is ok, but limiting oneself to one sport for the sake of trying to get a scholarship is a bit short sighted in my opinion. But, to each his/her own.

I have seen all of these young ladies play, and they are all very nice players with a lot of promise ahead of them.

Paris Ladyhound freshman Kaliee Finch is averaging 13 points and 12 rebounds per game.

Just read an article by Urban Meyer. Out of 47 of his recruits, 42 were more than 1 sport and 5 were football only. Very interesting to hear that.

Not surprised. Every college coach I have talked to, they love recruiting the multi-sport athletes. Selfish high school coaches, selfish club coaches, and short sighted parents are the ones that have pushed the concept of the one sport athlete. I am not judging those that just play one sport for the sake of playing one sport, that's not where I am going with this.

This would be a good topic for a new thread.

These girls are all very different players and each bring something special to the game. As teammates they really compliment each other and as competitors they bring a whole other level of competition to the high school games. I look forward to watching these freshmen grow. They are lovely young ladies : )

interesting that 2 of these young ladies play for Scott. (plus 1 former Scott player).

I know that Clos also plays on the golf team, Clephane plays soccer and Held runs track.
