I was looking forward to the Lex Cath, Mount Notre Dame game, is this game cancelled too?

Funny SHSbballmom, I watched S play CC on cable last week and it was fun watching all the former teammates play. We enjoy following high school ball due to all the girls we have met and come to know along the AAU path. It is hard at times to see former teammates going against one another but they all handle it so well. Hard nosed on the court and hugging after the games. ShortDad, I agree with you about the theoldguys demeaning comments. But I must add the NDA coach should be admired for not trying to run up a crazy score like we see around some programs. Both organizations NDA and CCHS showed great class for how they approached this game. I don't think Boone would run up a score either for that matter. Theoldguy may be very blunt but doesn't speak for NDA, he is equally as hard on NDA players as he is on other teams and he always seems to get the dander up of opposing teams. Guess that is what blogging is all about unfortunately.

I thought the Campbell County team gave a tremendous effort. Very little subbing on their side against the run and gun offense of NDA is tough.

You know the Sacred Heart team has a little history to live up to when you walk into their gym.

Lex Christian vs NCC would be a nice match up. Several D-1's would go head to head in that game. I don't know anything about the other teams so having said that good luck to all the teams and enjoy the tourney.

Nice win SK, congrats. Good to see the 8th region tighten up. Coach K, NDA didn't walk through Boone so the 9th is a bit tight as well. It is great for Northern Kentucky Basketball.

These two teams really got after each other in the December match up so I would expect they will both be ready for another tough game tonight. Makes for great basketball. Best of luck to all my good friends at SK.

It's official.......NDA vs Conner in the finals next Sunday.

NDA did win. 19 - 14 at half but NDA turned it on in the second half and won going away.

I am pretty sure NDA plays tonight (24th) vs. Ludlow. This is due to a schedule conflict.

Cooty, I totally understood your post and in fact said the same thing earlier in the year until things got reversed. It was only a small one liner in a large post that 3pt jumped on so I thought I should call him on it. Good luck with NCC tonight and hopefully #25 will light it up once again.

I agree that Rankings/Ratings are not very meaningfull but if you put either word in the title of a thread that thread will get more hits than any other. Everyone knows NDA and Boone are neck and neck with several other 9th region teams playing very well so let's just sit back and enjoy the competition. And from what I saw at the Ky Preps Plus Classic games on Saturday whomever gets to the State will have their hands full. A Boone guy posting NDA's rank is meaningless seems a bit petty to me. TheOldGuy might just be getting under your skin. Good luck to all the 9th region teams. Play well and stay healthy the rest of the way.

I watched Conner early in the year and pretty welll wrote them off but it appears as though they have found there way back. Long has really stepped it up and earned her playing time. Nice to see hard work pay off. The next few weeks should be interesting in the 9th to see who are the contenders versus who are the pretenders.
