WOW impressive victory.... Now I will have to drive down to Louisville to see Notre Dame Academy play Sacred Heart this Saturday night.....

Campbell who scored her 1,000 point at the Preps Plus Classic at Trinity High School two weeks or so ago, is really impressive. It should be a classic match up with Dickman and Campbell going up against one another......and since NDA beat Sacred Heart last year at the Classic, I am sure that SH will be ready......

Again congrats to the Valkyries on a great victory over LexCath....

This indeed means that the Ladies Sweet Sixteen is officially now wide open.......

what was sacred hearts record??

They're now 18-4. Lost previously to Catholic and Assumption, as well as twice to out-of-state teams during a Florida holiday tourney.

Elizabeth Campbell is the daughter of former Trinity and UK tight end Jim Campbell who was an all-SEC performer in the the late 70's. She is going to college at Holy Cross in Boston next year.

There is no shame losing to Assumption and or to LexCath at all. This victory by Sacred Heart over LexCath coupled with the loss by Scott County to DuPont Manual is the best news, any fan of High School Ladies Basketball in the Commonwealth could ask for.

Campbell at the KPP Classic in Jan.

I've seen Campbell in camps and in AAU ball...and have been impressed with her skills, but it appears that she is only now reaching her potential. Congratulations to SH. I've always thought good post play could make the difference against LC.

yeah this is great news to all girls basketball teams... nothing against LC or Scott Co but it gives these other good teams some hope... So is Campbell a Senior?

AGREE. It could be wide open this year, which it hasn't been for a while. Should make for a fun March tourney.

Lex Cath when they are shooting well and operating well defensively and offensively is still probably the favorite. However, this team lacks depth, height, and intensity at times. Get some players in foul trouble and keep the pressure up and the Lady Knights are beatable. Congrats Sacred Heart. Still, I wouldn't want to face the Lady Knights in the tournament. Five starters who have won the State Championship and handled tough games suggest this team still has poise and experience. March might seem more wide open but I'd still say that if Scott Co. or Lex Cath win the 11th they will be a huge favorite still.

Great win for Sacred Heart they must have played awesome but i think Lex Cath and Scott Co are still on another level than the rest of the teams in the state
