Let someone else hold it one year and everyone will see when the attendance is horrible then everyone will see it makes no sense to move the tourney.

Being a official scorer for the last 12 seasons, i've got to work with alot of officials but John Chamberlian and JT Taylor are a couple of my favorites they are always great floor generals that help you out if you miss a foul or the table crew has a mishap. I like hacksaw alot too, sorry hack I stole all you softballs at Germantown when I was 10 years old!

Congrats to coach Hammonds. Working with him for the past three seasons i've got to know him and he is great person and a great coach. Also congrats to West J as you guys are getting one of the top notch young coaches in the state. I have mixed emotions about this, selfish wanting him to stay at Bracken but yet this great opportunity can't be passed up. I called him personally this afternoon to wish him well and he assured me he would miss BCHS. Now whats next for us??

As we head to Maysville next week for the regional tourney, what coach do you feel has made the biggest impact on their team to this point? And has a chance to win coach of the year.(even coaches that won't be in the regional)

Any early predictions for this huge 39th district matchup?

The tourney should never be moved from Mason Co. Too much tradition in the place. It wouldn't be the same.

This is a very dangerous game for Pendleton. If they let up a little, and HC is on, Pendleton could be headed to Maysville just to watch the 10th.. :eek:

I can't believe you people are cryin about this. U that live close to Campbell have easier access to the school. You wouldn't know about that living out in the country. All the roads in Bracken and Harrison are all very very dangerous roads when it snows. Yes its just 3 miles for us to get to the double A from the high school, but what about the roads the players have to travel on to get to the school. Some places in the county take 20 to 25 minutes just to get to Brooksville on a good day. You put a couple of inches of snow on those roads and it would take a hour just to get to the high school. Same for Harrison County. I love high school basketball but the safety of the kids and coaches is more important than basketball and good job for the three schools that didn't show up. U people need to grow up. :irked:

St. Patrick defeats Calvary Christian 79-64 this morning at Campbell County. St. Pat also defeated Paris last night 70-42. The win this morning gives St. Pat 11 wins out of their last 14 games. Their record now improves to 13-13. Great job by coach Jason Hinson to get them turned around after a 2-10 start!

Its a whole new season once the districts start. You have your favorites and most of them do advance but remember anything can happen this time of year, i've seen it happen..even the almost impossible.

This one is shaping up to be a great game. Possibly a preview of a possible game in march in Maysville, but with the homecourt advantage i'm going with Brossart by 4 in a excellent matchup.
