With baseball the summer leauges do not seem to be as competive as say AAU for basketball.

I like the move to wooden bats, I was at dicks the other day and they had some good wooden bats for 30 dollers. That is not bad when you compare a metal bat at 120 that is four wood that should get you through a season. (just don't swing at anything inside)ha ha.

I think he will be a good fit for Marshall and congrats to him.

Chuck Hayes was an undersized big man and not to bad.

Silver Grove is losing a great coach.

The runs should count because it was not a force out situation. It was a hit then an out, almost like if he would of got thrown out going to second the runs would still count.

Ryan pitched for Walton and only gave up 5 hits and 0 earned runs. So once again the errors beat Walton. I belive it was 4 errors which led to 3 runs. It is tough to pitch such a good game and lose that way.

19 K's that is impressive but for this game to go 9 innings and still turn out as a pitchers duel is credit to both teams.

The way I look at this is the money should not matter that is between the family and the school. Anymore these days you can get grants to almost cover the whole bill. We need to look at the good which is another Kentucky kid going on to play at the next level.:ylsuper:

If you widen the lane and move the three point line back on the sides you will have to widen most of the courts in the state.

He attents Walton Verona.

He had talks with alot of teams but the three main schools were Manchester (which he has choosen to attend) Transy, and Greenville.

Let me be the first to say congrats and best of luck on the next level. Manchester is a DIII school out of Indiana. I had the chance to meet the coaches at a couple of games and they are super nice people. I think Frank will fit in really well with the system that Manchester likes to run. I know that this was a tough decision for Frank to make and I think he did the right thing by taking his time and weighing his decision carefully.:ylsuper: :dancingpa

He has made his final decission but has not had the chance to tell the other coaches so he asked me not to put it on here until he had the chance to tell them in person.

Well ofcourse we all know that I agree with this. I think he is one of the best post defenders especially for his size. I think he will do great on the next level when they move him more towards the 3 or 4 spot instead of the 5.

Hopperton is there number one starter, I belive Walton started Ryan which would be the three maybe the two. I do wish it could of been a full squad game win or loose.

Kentucky needs to protect there back yard and start making some contact with him this summer. I would much rather see him in Kentucky blue and white then Duke blue and white.

then why even schedule this game and play it at the Florence Freedom field I would think the varsity guys would like to play there.

I would look for Walton to make some noise if the pitching keeps going the way it has been.

Another good performance for the bearcats the pitching keeps them in these games and the bats seem to be getting hot at the right times. Roberts seems to be playing really well for a first year player as a senior. Hope this carries over to the all A.

I disagree I think Walls to streaky of a shooter, he does mean alot to his team with defense and court leadership. And you can't argue who went further in the tourment when the two teams are not even close in total talent level. You have to compare the two players on there own, when you do this I belive that Pettigrew comes out on top and he deserves the award.

It does not matter he has to play the schedule they give him. And like somebody said before Pelle could of had 40 a night if he wanted. Against those teams he could of put up 60, but he would not do that he is unselfish and makes everbody around him better. Avereged 26 against brossart who I believe finished with the thrid best defense in the state. But my point is the schedule issue should not even be considered, the player has no control over that.
