Have read on several UK and Duke boards that Wojo and Dawkins have been in contact with Coach O' Hearn recently about Mr. Miller, wanting tapes of his games,etc. This will really put him in the spot light for next season. If Duke wants you,they usually get you. If Donavon doesn't come to UK,would really like to see Darius sign with Duke. No one has ever left the state for Duke and would really like to see it happen for Darius. Maybe can get Mason County people to join me as a Duke fan,ala UT and Chris.:thumb:

Wasn't there a point guard who played high school in KY go to Duke, I think he was a backup most of his career.

Buckner from Univ Heights played at Duke. Think he might have been a walk on. He played with Harold Swannagan (man child).

That would be awesome if Miller went to a high profile school like Duke. Be even better if he went to a high profile school like UK.

Does he have the grades ?

Whats wong with him going to UL? They are recuiting him. UK and UL get blasted for not signing Lofton. I would like for him to stay in state. Also Former UL assistant Vince Taylor went To Duke. I believe he played at one of the Lexington schools(Tates Creek?)

Yes he has the grades. He is a great kid with a great family and will be a huge asset to any team he joins.

I have heard that Duke, UNC, and Kansas are the only big D1 college teams to NOT contact Darius. It is only a matter of time until they do though.

Surely, you are not talking about Jeff Mullins.

I have a source at Mason County that is reliable. I am not saying you are wrong, but I have information saying otherwise. You have to condsider you source when talking about message boards... Like all of the Donovan to UK stuff...

This is usually the process they follow. Each university will recruit for the positions they need and that changes from year to year. People get caught up in the name of the University. Darius, when what I have seen and heard is a very outstanding young man off and on the court. I only hope for him to attend the university that is suited for the education he is pursuing and the basketball program where he can flourish. EX. Chris Lofton...Tennesse was the right place for him.

Coach O'Hearn,Darius and his family are probably the only ones that know and that is the way it should be.
