Not at all. If he chose to attend Duke, he would get a first class education and continue his basketball career.

 

If Duke is pursuing him and decides to verbal, I say well done.

 

He's on the basketball team... he wont be going to class

 

Seriously though, if he does go to Duke... it will be impossible for me to root for him. I dont care how good the education is, that doesnt make me want Duke to do well.

If Duke wants you, you go there. Just like the Yankees and Braves in baseball and USC in college football.

I wouldnt go that far. If you want to use that analogy in college basketball, right now it would have to be Carolina. Roy Williams basically says "Ok I have 3 scholarships" and then walks outside his office and says "I want you, you... and..... you".

Kentucky needs to protect there back yard and start making some contact with him this summer. I would much rather see him in Kentucky blue and white then Duke blue and white.
