Nothing we haven't known for a long tome...

I am starting to get along in years, and yeah somethings that long ago are kind of hard to remember.

I was at the game, the running game for Elder (# 21 ) was dominant. The int, and Highlands kickoff return being called back in the 2nd half were game changers. Fun game to watch. Elder had a great fan base at the game. Other than the outcome of the game, it was a fun night.

Highlands was in 5A for a few years. They never lost to a 5A team in that time period.

Yeah, I thought of that. However we are in a football forum. I will bow to SK in the bball forum. I loved that 81 team.

I believe there is a SK thread on here discussing the loss to Dixie, maybe some of the SK attention should be in that thread. Moving on. Nice win Birds. Panthers are up next.

Why does Highlands continue to have grades with 4 or less players?

With only 13, couldn't they all dress Varsity? I'd hate to be the one or two that doesn't.

I do remember Beal doing a 180 over someone back in the day. But yeah, the kid from Lloyd had a heck if a throw down.

Only caught one game last season. 1st round of the regionals. Was it Lloyd? Anyway, to the bolded, Pat Towles had an advantage inside, yet he played most of the game at the top of the key.

Pretty much can be said for all of the classes. After the top tier teams which remain constant year in and year out, there is a pretty big drop off.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be something ( or someone ) missing in this thread???

Wow! All talk about gym renovations and now player contracts? Doesn't say much about the team. Will they at least be decent?

The PA system is unusual. There are places in the stadium where it is inaudible, yet I can usually hear it pretty clearly on my front porch, and I'm at least a 1/4 of a mile from the school.

Might be a long wait...

Talked to Steve's dad. It was the volcano. Steve is OK!

Not much into HS baseball. As for the field, I attend 3 or 4 Freedom games a year. Love the venue, hate the field.
