Some of the things you are saying is so untrue. I know for a fact how many show up for weights this year and in the past. Actually you talk about motivation must be working this year because Scott is averaging about 24 to 25 kids each night at weights. Scott will be fine this year with what they got coming back and with JV players moving up. Biggest hurdle they will have is in the catching dept. Scott has fine Coaches at the Varsity Level with lots of experience and they make the kids practice hard and prepare for games day in and day out.

Murray to me is still not on track. I was at the game last night and even though he scored 16 points still doesn't look to shoot as much as he did early in the season. I believe he made one 3 pointer last night and the rest of his points came on fast break lay-ups and put-backs. He is to good of a shooter not to be taking shots when he is open Scott will need his outside shooting back if they want to go far at Tourney time.

Matt Nichols from Dixie could flat out bring it last year. He is on a baseball scholarship to Morehead. I would say he was probably the fastest just right behind Mutsch of Brossart. As for Adams I believe he was way over worked when it came to pitching and pretty much threw his arm out. The kid can still flat out hit though.

Let's wait til after Friday's game between Scott and Brossart. If Scott wins they are the best in the district going into the tourney if Brossart wins then I will say the big 3 are equal going into the tourney. You are right about if ,ands and buts just ask a Tennessee fan they are saying if Jodie Meeks doesn't play last night then Tennessee wins by 30. I think it is going to be a great district tourney. I have seen Calvary play this year and they seem to be more competitive than in the past.

Campbell is a good team and nobody should be discounting them at all. I was at last nights game and if Scott would of hit their foul shots especially early in the game this could have been at least a 10 point victory. Scott started off the game 1 out of their first 8 from the foul line. Campbell will be there at the end and probably will be playing Scott in the district championship but like you said Brossart may have a say in this matter. Nikola needs to have more consistent scoring games for the Eagles last night 4 points from 1 of your leading scorers just won't cut it especially when district and possibly regional play roll around.

Has SK won a game this year yet ? I am not trying to be mean just haven't heard about any wins only losses.

I believe Scott should be put in the top 10 especially before SK. Scott brings back alot of talent from the Regional Runner-up team in 08. EJ Murray will be as good as anyone in NKY this year. Taylor Smith should supply the power for the Eagles. Scotts weak spot this year will be the catching position.

At this point I believe both teams are over-hyped. Scott has size in the middle but never seem to utilize it. O'Connor seems to always stand flat footed and never jumps that much for rebounds needs to get stronger and use his height advantage more. Nicola has nice moves for a big man but seems to stand outside around the 3 point line to much. At this time of the season I think this game is a toss up with a slight home court advantage going to Holy Cross. If Scott turns the ball over as much as they have so far it could be a long night for the Eagles!!!!!!

Open enrollment for some reason only hurts Scott in the football program. I guess more kids seem to be only worried about football more than the rest of the sports. Scott is just as good and even better in all the other sports except football. Scott will be fine with open enrollment especially after they get their sports complex which really should be a nice one. Scott definately has more land than the other 2 high schools to do more with. Simon and Dixie are so land locked.

Scott will have alot of talent at the Freshman level this year and next. Scott had about 4 or 5 7th graders last year that saw alot of action at the Freshman level and they performed pretty well.

I attended the game last night and Scott's starters played about 20 minutes or more.When the game started it actually took Scott around 3 minutes to score their first point and that was after Coach Carr pulled the starters. O'Conner looked good along with Jones and Nikola looked ok but EJ and Nick didn't play up to their capabilities. Scott's outside game was pretty much non-existent for the first game. Things will be better I think it was first game jitters for some. Next week will be big for the Eagles with Mason and Moeller.:thumb::thumb:

Scott's starting 5 this year will be good. Scott only had 1 Senior starter last year in Adkins which will be missed some this year.Scott has the potential to have one of the best teams in Taylor Mill in a long time as long as they play together and don't worry about individual statistics during the season. They should be alot faster this year as a team and get up and down the court.

Seen Bertke throw does not throw mid 80's might hit 80 once in awhile. He does however have a good change-up and I am sure he will be in the starting rotation.:ylsuper::ylsuper:

I think the Eagles will have to play good defense because Henry County has a good quarterback who can throw and run. I am sure Henry County will be ready for Reyes but can they stop him ? If they do they will win. Scott is basically a 1 man show. I think they need to give the ball to the Bruner kid some this week. It took Scott 9 games to realize he might be able to help them in the backfield offensively.

Who do you think will win and why ?

Lloyd by alot. Lloyd could easily handle Scott this year so this game probably gets ugly quick unless Ludlow comes to play harder than they did last week against Scott.

Good job by Reyes he is a great kid with a bright future. Scott has proven they can beat the Single A schools this year they really need to prove they can beat a school above 4A which I don't know what Henry County is but a win in the final game of the season will match Scott's record of last year but they will not make the play-offs like they did last year. Did the Coaching change really help ? No improvement on the field but maybe it helped moral wise. Maybe if this Coach had last years team he could have won 6 or 7 games don't know. It is however time to move on with whoever is coaching the Eagles I wish them luck next year but it is going to be rough for the next couple years. Good luck Eagles and way to go Jacob Reyes.

Campbell from Scott

Honestly I think it is because if Scott would happen to lose to a 1A school I believe some of the assistant coaches will be gone. ( WHICH SOME OF THEM NEED TO GO ANYWAY NO MATTER WHAT) I believe Coach Campbell knows what he is doing but his assistants have no idea about Coaching at the high school level.:thumb:

I know Riley played against Dixie and they put up 0 points in that game to. I think it all came down to is Holmes beat the teams they should beat Scott, Holy Cross and have lost to the teams they should lose to. Let's not say they haven't been the same since they lost Riley.:ylsuper::ylsuper:

Just want to see everyones opinion on this game. I think it is a must win for Scott.

At the Scott vs. WV, coach Wooley (sp) kicked some former players off the sidelines, he said they were not part of the program. The way there offense is looking lately he wont be a part of the program much longer either. :lol:

I sure hope coach Campbell rethinks his coaching decisions and maybe hire's a real offensive guy. Just because the guy played for him doesn't make him a good offensive coordinator. Maybe when they hire the next round of coaches at least some of them will have teaching certificates. I hope Tom Landry, excuse me Tom Madison has not put football before education. It is my understanding that they let real teachers go to make room for football coaches.
