Indeed they did respond very well. This game is usually always a tough one, with lots of emotion and physical pay. Game is usually very close, but Scott managed to hold this one out and win by 25+. Good job Eagles! Take care of bussiness Saturday!

Murray gets back on track with 16 points to lead Scott!

Murray to me is still not on track. I was at the game last night and even though he scored 16 points still doesn't look to shoot as much as he did early in the season. I believe he made one 3 pointer last night and the rest of his points came on fast break lay-ups and put-backs. He is to good of a shooter not to be taking shots when he is open Scott will need his outside shooting back if they want to go far at Tourney time.

Shame my Pioneers are down this year. This game usually is one of the most intense ones of the year just not this year or next from the look of things. Simon Kenton just did not have the strength or size to compete. Scotts' defense is very good. Scott was better on offense when they moved the ball around with more than two passes. That 3rd or 4th pass found the open man.

Scott has pretty much guaranteed themselves a spot in the 10th region tourny by being the #1 seed in the 37th. They would have to beat either Silver Grove or Calvary to get to the district finals and there is no doubt that they will beat either one.

I think O'Conner was a big part of Scott's defensive success last night. Seemed like he had a lot of blocked shots and altered quite a few others.
