Featured Replies

Scott schedule shows a scrimmage at North Oldham on Saturday. Anybody have any updates? Is Hiller healthy and playing for Scott?

Scott and North Oldham played 5 quarters yesterday. The final Score was Scott 87 North Oldham 86. Very scrappy game with a lot of fouls.

Sorry I forgot to mention, Hiller is healthy and did play yesterday.

Good news for Scott to have Hiller back on the floor and healthy. Scott's teams under Coach Carr are always scrappy. They are not going to back down.

Scott returns 4 starters from last year. Should be an interesting year in Taylor Mill.

I don't know much about North Oldham. What kind of team do they anticipate having this year?

North Oldham looked pretty good. The two teams had very similar styles of play. Like to push the ball up the floor. North Oldham had 2 very nice big men, along with good guard play and good shooters. It was a very good game to watch. I would say North Olham is in the top three teams of the 8th for sure.

What kind of size does Scott have this year?

Scott has pretty good size this year. Daniel Oconner at 6'7" Nikola Gligorevic at 6'4" Jake Neiderregger at 6'3" Stefan Hagfor 6'3" Andrew Wilson 6'2" EJ Murray 6'2" Nick Hiller 6'0

I know it was a scrimmage but what did the starting 5 look like for Scott?

Nice lineup I see they play St. Henry next week in a scrimmage at Simon Kenton how do you think they will do against St.Henry I have heard St. Henry does not have much height this year.

Scott's starting 5 this year will be good. Scott only had 1 Senior starter last year in Adkins which will be missed some this year.Scott has the potential to have one of the best teams in Taylor Mill in a long time as long as they play together and don't worry about individual statistics during the season. They should be alot faster this year as a team and get up and down the court.

The starting line up for Scott looked pretty good. They started Oconner, Gligorevic, Murray, Hagfors, and Smith. Played pretty good together.

Going to have to agree, Scott should be on of the better teams to come through Taylor Mill in a long time. Just like you said, they did push the ball up the floor a lot. St Henry and Scott should be a good scrimage to watch. I believe its at 11 at SK.

Hagfors? Wow very suprised by this. What does Hagfors do that Coach Carr likes so much? Im not expecting Hiller to start because of his injury buy why not Niederreger (sp?)? I think Jake is better than Hagfors. Nothing against Stefan because the kid can flat out shoot but i dont know if the confidence is there yet but i guess this is how you build confidence is during scrimmages. And i sure wouldn't second guess what Coach Carr decides.

North Oldham should be one of the top 3 teams in the 8th this season. Good combination of size / speed / shooting /depth. Well-coached team.

I'd personally take the 06-07 team win Sharp, Quigley, and company over this years team but thats for a totally different debate. I willl agree though that this will and should be a pretty good team this year and a contender in the 10th.

I've Been told he is working hard in practice. I don't see him starting all year, but Carr is known to play guys that he thinks will play there hardest for him.
