Wasn't there, but was told the starters played 6 to 8 minutes a tops.

This SG team doesn't have "the man" like they've had in the recent past. They have a bunch of scrappers who play hard.

EJ Murray, O'Conner, and Hiller really played well but could play better. The Eagles didnt play all that great despite the score. The bench will be a huge factor for the Eagles this year. With Keylo Jones, Andrew Wilson, and Steffan Hagfors coming off the bench this team will be very deep. Keylo Jones might be one of the most athletic kids in this area outside of the boys from Holmes. Its going to be a fun year in Taylor Mill and this game shows it. This team will go hard, work hard, run, run, run, and win some games. Gonna be fun this year. Way to go Eagles now go down the Lewis Co. Saturday and start the season 2-0 because next week will be very very very tough with Mason coming to Scott Friday and then playing Cin. Moeller on Saturday at NKU.

I attended the game last night and Scott's starters played about 20 minutes or more.When the game started it actually took Scott around 3 minutes to score their first point and that was after Coach Carr pulled the starters. O'Conner looked good along with Jones and Nikola looked ok but EJ and Nick didn't play up to their capabilities. Scott's outside game was pretty much non-existent for the first game.

 

Things will be better I think it was first game jitters for some. Next week will be big for the Eagles with Mason and Moeller.:thumb::thumb:

Not saying that you are wrong, but was told from a very reliable person that the starters saw a quarter tops. Everything else you said was right on from what I heard.

The bottom line is that the Eagles did what they were supposed to do, and that is a sign of a good team. It's usually hard to find problems with your team after a 43 point win, but I'm sure Coach Carr with find them, fix them, and have the boys ready for LC.

:thumb:, I agree, from the sounds of it though is that the intensity level wasn't were it needs to be for them to compete against the tops in the 10th.
