Dayton showed there lack of class by playing there starters on the last offensive set. That really shows some insecurity from there Head coach.

It may take another Eagle painted on the floor for Scott to get another win.

I actually think Dixie could win with their Freshman team especially the way Scott has been playing lately. I will say Dixie 45-7 wins this game.

I hope he is there for quite awhile to but let's not get carried away and get to excited about the future because it will take him at least 4 years to see anything that he is building come to Scott. The Freshman team this year have not won a game and the Freshman team last year didn't win a game. To me that does not bode well with the future, next year and the year after could be really ugly only time will tell. The only excitment I see for next year is the fact that the Eagles will be getting turf and a new football complex. This will help them maybe get some more kids because we know it helped Dixie and Simon Kenton.:ylsuper::ylsuper:

Scott looks like they are packing it in for the year. Teams that scout Scott are picking up on the 2 plays they run and the 2 players they use mostly. Scott's offensive coordinator whoever it is needs to implement some more plays in the playbook because everyone knows now what they run. If Scott doesn't come out to play against Dixie it will get ugly quick. People must realize that Scott's 2 wins came against teams they should have beaten easily but if you had to play the Walton game again right now I think Walton could come out on top because they seem to be getting better every week and Scott seems to be getting WORSE!!!!!! I wonder what Scott's Principal is thinking now on his hiring of a new coach ? I will give Coach Campbell the benefit of the doubt I think he knows what he is doing but his assistants don't seem to have a clue right now. I wish them luck they need 2 more victories to match last years record. I see 1 victory for sure against Ludlow but they will have to come and play to beat Dixie or Henry County.

I guess your right big things are going to happen in Taylor Mill they will be widening the road in the future. As far as Scott football it looks like the Freshman team will not win a game this year either so that really bodes well for the Varsity program to have back to back no win season teams coming up in the ranks. I just hope I am around long enough to see Scott Football win at least 6 games in a season.:ylsuper::ylsuper:

You are right Scott still might go 4-6 or even 5-5 but they still won't make the play-offs or have a win in the district unless they beat Dixie which is unlikely. I guess my biggest gripe was with the way the Coaching staff from last year was let go it was mainly because they lost to Dayton which was 10 times better last year than this year but I guess the Coach this year is ok because he beat Dayton. lol Say what you want about the Eagles this year but in no way do they compare to last years team even if they do get 4 or 5 wins on the season.

Scott better win this one. They are letting to many games get away that they should have won. ( Holmes, Grant) If they lose this game the season will be a bust other than team moral what have they improved on from last years team. 07 team play-offs, 08 team ? a chance but a slim one now to make the play-offs. 07 team more explosive on offense with more weapons. 08 team offensively has 2 main weapons need to utilize more kids on offense. 08 team does have a solid defense. I will give these new coaches the benefit of the doubt and hope they succeed within the next couple of years.

I hope you are saying that Scott's team last year was more talented than this years team. This years team don't even compare to last years team talent wise. If Coach Campbell had the team Scott had last year the sky would be the limit this year. Scott had all the tools last year passing attack, receiving core, rushing game and good special teams, not to say they don't have good players in certain areas this year just stating if he could have had the team last year this year.:ylsuper::ylsuper:

He might no how to build and lead in college, but let's wait and see about high school. Marvin Lewis great defensive coach in the pros but over-rated as a head coach. Can someone please tell me the difference between this Coaching Staff and last years Coaching Staff. I know what it is last years team made the play-offs and this years team will not.:laugh::laugh: Let's wait and see before we announce him as Scott's football savior, he does bring stuff to the table that the program needs but so did some of the last coaches in the system. I am a Scott supporter and will always be but I just want to wait and see what happens first. Leave the School fight song alone it is one of the best already.:ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper:

Can't understand why Scott would cancel a JV game it really can't be about numbers can it All I heard at the beginning of the year is how Scott's numbers increased this year and more kids came out to play because of the new coaching staff all I know is Scott cancelled no JV games the last 2 years because of numbers and they used Freshman players some last year to help get them some more experience. Something seems fishy in Taylor Mill behind the reasoning they would cancel a JV game. I think it might have to do with back to back days of a possible lopsided scoring afair but I could be wrong.:laugh::laugh:

Good play calling on offense you got to be kidding me. I was at the Cov Cath game and on Scotts very first possession they go for it on their own 20 on 4th down obviously they don't make it and Cov Cath only has to go 20 yards for their first score.:laugh::laugh: Scotts offense is 1 dimensional they only have 2 players that they really use on offense Reyes and Sowder. Stop them and there is no offense. No passing game at all like they had last year. In closing I will say the kids do play hard and yes I believe Coach Fisk laid the ground work for this years team and only time will tell if the new coaching staff can get them to the play-offs like Coach Fisk did last year.:thumb:

Sorry about that I thought someone was referring to Scotts coach about a nice program. I didn't know the first name of Scotts coach just his last name. Yes I definately agree Grants coach has them moving in the right direction and has a nice program he is building.:thumb::thumb:

You are right so far he really has put a nice program together got air-conditioning in locker room and painted Eagle logo on floor and put chains around it and told no one to walk on it. Things are turning for the better in Taylor Mill. PLAYOFFS-07 PLAYOFFS- 08 DOUBTFUL UNLESS THEY BEAT DIXIE !!!!!!!!!!::thumb::thumb:

Highlands can name the score in this game. Clock will run continously in this game when it is allowed to. Highlands can do some stat padding in this game.

I think we need to calm down a little bit about the Eagles this year. They don't have the talent they had last year and they are under a new coaching staff which maybe down the road can turn it around but they will need time. Scott is a 2 man team this year with Reyes and Sowder they NEED some others to step up. I still believe they will win 2 more games this year probably Newport and Ludlow and maybe a possible win at Henry County. I believe Dixie and of course Highlands will be tough for the Eagles. If you take away the run Scotts offense falters because right now they have no passing attack.

Ugly first half for the Eagles . No offense at all Reyes slowed down by Grants defense.

Jacob Reyes from Scott definately when he gets a chance to play it. I know he is vital on offense but he should be playing linebacker on defense. The coaches from Scott need to utilize him more on defense.

There is nothing wrong with kids running sprints after a loss maybe the Coaches are trying to bring some discipline to the program. As for Bellevue not running up the score what was they onside kicking for when the score was already 21-0:thumb::thumb:

I believe Scott should win this game since it is their Homecoming and they should be fired up all week about it. However if Scott shows the lack of discipline they showed against Holmes with all the face-mask penalites they will let Grant stay in the game with good field position and then Grant will have a chance to pull off an upset. Scott definately needs some kind of passing game if they don't come up with one they will lose games they shouldn't because their offense will be one dimensional and teams will adjust and stop their running game. Scotts play-off hopes this year might have been squandered away Friday night. They will have to beat Dixie to have a chance for the play-offs this year. Scotts offense struggles when they play against teams with speed especially when they try to turn the corner. I would like to see them use the Bruner kid in the back field some he has speed and would be a load for anyone to bring down.

The Eagle offense looks very sad nothing like last year. I sure hope coach Wooooley has something different otherwise they may not win another game.

The new coach who took over didn't get most of his players from his back to back championship teams from Summit View. Just give him time at the Freshman level he will build a Championship team at Scott he is a good coach and motivator.:thumb:

I would say EJ probably can throw about 80 but not consistently he has great off-speed stuff. He will not over-power anyone but hits spots good. He will probably be Scotts #1 in 09 with Hiller #2 and Sparks #3 and Sowder #4 but who knows anything can happen between now and then this is just my opinion after watching these guys pitch last year.
