How are the tigers looking this year with the new field and losing majority of their starters?

They lost five starters and one strictly pitcher. Not to mention Slusher will not be playing next year. I'm not sure they can compete with CCH and Roehneker(?).

Beechwood should be fine this coming season. They've had some good sucess and believe it will continue for them. Sure CCH and HC will be good as well - that's why that district is so competitive.

Slusher should be playing. He is a senior THIS YEAR. That makes him still eligible to play in the spring unless he will be 19.

I would imagine the rotation would include in no order:

 

Smith

Larrimore

Bertke

Snyder

Colosimo

Hall

 

Not sure upon who will throw when but Smith will be the ace. Some other young players could see varsity minutes.

Slusher was IMO their second best player last year. What reasoning does he have to not play?

I don't really understand Slusher that much. Great baseball player and football player. He made the Kentucky Colonels team last year but decided to not play! Does he intend to play baseball or football in college?
