That is very impressive to gain 10mph on your fastball in just a few months. Something tells me that radar gun needs to be checked.

From the people I talked to, Bertke doesn't even hit 80 but is very good with his off speed pitches, and the name of the game for a pitcher is to keep the hitters off balance.

Bertke is one of the smartest players in NKY. He may not be the best at each of the tools, but he get's everything out of what he's got. In the most simplest of terms, he's a "Baseball Player".

Anyone wishing to help mulch,clean or shine the baseball field show up Saturday about 11:00.All help is greatly appreciated.Or if you just want to see what has happened to the field ,come and check it out.It looks great so far!!!!!

NCC (Morscher) has gotten a much needed facelift. But I heard that Beechwood was completely overhauling their field. PLEASE SEND HELP:confused: I think Morscher will take years to settle.

Beechwood's field is really nice. My only question is why no dirt in the infield? Only dirt around the baseball. Not too sure if I like it but only time will tell upon how the Beechies do.

Seen Bertke throw does not throw mid 80's might hit 80 once in awhile. He does however have a good change-up and I am sure he will be in the starting rotation.:ylsuper::ylsuper:
