The question is not whethor Bowling Green has a great defense, but whethor their great defense can stop the equally great passing attack of LexCath. I think they can, im not impressed with LexCath's O-Line and still not sold on there defense as a whole. I am sold on a few Defensive players though. Ben Revere is a shutdown corner. Can BG score enough cause there certainly not going to shut LC out? With all this said BG by 3pts. They will cause enough turnovers with their defensive pressure to keep LC off of the board. How can u root against great defense!

*Trinity, how bout you show some class, let it go, you won the game. Last week Dunbar did a formal dance with a chant on our HC(much more organized and would have started a even bigger uproar than what we did) and nothing was said. Nothing was said because we answered by putting 21 pts up in the first 6 min. We didn't need to down their coach, we just let the scoreboard do the talking.

WHO?? WHEN??? WHERE???? This is unfounded and off base. I think it is incredible how people can suddenly make up unfounded comments about a man who has garned so much respect throughout the years.

He didn't audible to anything, I WAS ON THE FIELD! It would have worked if we had receivers who might even attempt to block. Eric Senn made one heck of a play though because he was 5yrds off of the ball and got into his backpeddle before he came up and made a rare solo tackle on Rod.

I dont think the outcome of the game had anything to do with us getting too tired, they just physically beat us in every aspect of the game. They had a great game plan and had obviosly done excellent scouting. Their players were also more disciplined than us, they were like robots who were programed to do one thing and they always accomplished their task.

We had to finish our pregame chant, a ritual we say before every game for atleast the past 6 seasons(probably more).

I am probably they only HC supporter with a BGP account. That would be a good reason why no one else is replying. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the TRINITY players. I wish I could say the same for YOU.

OK, im glad everyone on this site understands this entire situation more than I do. Henry Clay ran out when their name was announced over the PA. A few Trinity players were waiting on your T trying to intimidate us (#41 to name one). We were not going to back down because we have heard all week how we are your doormats to the state finals. It is not a act of being a thug, but a act to show that we were not going to be intimidated. Trinity played a great game all the credit goes to their players and coaches, good luck to them in the finals as I will be rooting for them to beat St. X. As for their followers on this site, maybe you should check your facts before you start bashing our program and our coach. Sam Simpson is one of the classiest men that I know and would never purposely show disrespect to anyone.

Henry Clay. We lose alot. Rod Johnson, Salin Simpson, all 5 offensive lineman.... The cubbard is not bare though. We have 5 big underclassman who if they improve and jell togethor could turn into a very good high school line. Donte Gay has a unique blend of speed and power to be a exceptional high school running back. In spot duty he showed flashes of briallence as a soph. Chase Minnifield(1000+ all-purpose yrds), Clark Jeter(1000+ receiving yrds) and Aaron Boyd(600+ receiving yrds) all return. Defensively the Devils return 5 starters. Stephon Burton and Marcus Bentley both ended this season with slightly over 80 tackles. Chase Minnifield turned in 6 picks also. The other two returnees are Joe Hunter and Jacob Barney who will be 3 year starters come next season. Other underclassman also saw a considerable amount of playing time this season and will be main contributers next.

Trinity is good. Really good.

How is Rod Johnson left off of this list. 252 attempts. 1909 rushing yrds. 7.5 average. 25 receptions. 241 yrds. 34 TD's. 208 total points. 1 interception. No one else in the state has put up those types of numbers against the type of competition that he has done it against.

That roster is from the beginning of the summer. Most soph's will travel with the team friday night, but only 1 or 2 will play.
