I believe it is a legal block he didn't make contact with the center. I think the only rule concerning the center is you just can't make contact with him. And you cant propel your self off of another player i don't think i could be wrong about that though.

That is true and part of the reasoning is the travel cost/time for teams for teams. With there being so many many games now days most teams take the more reasonable trip.

Very nice, i took the virtual tour also, I personally like about Corbin's facility is thers is no post in the middle of the big turf field, the whole complex is a whole lot more open.

My guess is a little too slow for the offesive side of the ball against that kind of speed to keep up with his blocks, you are right, he has been a great run blocker thus far this season. He did play a little middle line backer, but then they ran a couple of routes that pulled him into coverage and that didn't work.

Yes we do have all except for the speed. We are also very well coached!!! Speed kills alot of times. We for the most part are young and things will get much better.

Yeah Fritts was ready to go friday in the case that the run was there, but it just wsan't there all night. There is a good posiblity they both will be seeing some varsity this year.

Let me guess, you want the coaches to go out and strap it on and do the job for them? Well guess what the KHSAA says that is illegal. :madman: They do tackling drills and tackling drills, they show up in practice but not allways in a game. You must be one of those people that if the sun didn't come up if would be the coaches fault. The coaches can't give them courage in the game to step up infront of a full speed runner and take him on instead of tripping him. Go down to the field house and give your memo in person, they will be there about 1:30 or 2:fire:

We have a couple of backs that are freshmen now that have that break away speed and are very hard nosed. Ryan Fritts and Caleb Watkins will be the next big time backs at corbin. Very,very talented kids in the wings of the program. Coming up from middle school are some very good hard nosed runners. Saxton Shelton and Matthew Taylor as well and speedy and athletic Dillon Eggen and Roman Mitchel 'QB' all 8th Graders. In the seventh coming up are Brady Foley and Josh Smith. As well as a slew of good linemen that are big and for the most part athletic, the future is bright for the Corbin Redhounds. Corbin will be back to its power house status.:ylsuper:
