  1. I allways thought Corbin did. The last game wasn't much though. I think the ones in charge for got how to work the music machine and alot of the fans decided it was too cold. Hopefully this week will be alot different. Get back to how it has been for ever basically.
  2. Not saying anything against the kid but hall or no hall it isn't going to happen this year. Like 4CHS stated Corbin played poorly the first match-up and since has beaten a Garrad Co. a team that went into 3 OT's with Wayne 116-12 in a two game stretch.
  3. Who will Corbin face next? Who won Whayne or Casey?
  4. Good job hounds. Live to play another week. A little slow out of the gates but picked it up.
  5. When conditions are bad Corbin uses their indoor turf field. Even though they do have a nice seperate practice field theres no since in tearing it up with all that has went into making it what it is.
  6. That view of the Rebels could nip them in the but. You never know during the play offs
  7. I'll find out i know the wife of a deceased former London High School football player
  8. They could very easily make a long run into the playoffs. But with the legacy that Boyle carries into each an every game it could be a short season for the warriors.
  9. Did bad field conditions play the ultimate equalizer for speed, or is leslie a pretty solid team?
  10. London High School's colors were gray and burgandy weren't they?
  11. I agree i ahave no problem with high school coaches using profanity. In middle school there is no place for it, no reason for it to be directed at them. I understand it may slip and they may hear it. In grade school there is no place for them to even hear it under no circumstances.
  12. If it is a direct personal attack at a kid using foul language i can understand getting all up in arms. It it is a simple 3 or 4 letter word when you mess up or the team messes up i don't think it is a big deal. Some coaches may get caught up in the emotion of being competitive and slip one in while giving a speech or explaing somthin that i don't feel the need to get up in arms about either.
  13. I agree completley that is doens't have to be used to win or get a player attention and yes there are plenty of ways to do it with out curse words. They do slip from time to time, and i haven't a problem with that. A continuous stream of them i can understand where that would be a problem. But it never bothered me when it was directed at me.
  14. I'll agree with that, sort of an embarrassment thing but it did work. It allways got me going to correct my mistakes.
  15. Don't throw stones from a glass house i have heard you on the fence row, with young adults and children standing near.
  16. Its not a big deal at all. It is going to happen get over it. They will hear is somewhere else, and chances are the kid is using the same language with friends. It is an emotional game and easy to get caught up in it. Wether or not some believe it it allways got me fired up, it really does get your attention. It is a part of it and probably allways has been. Thats why sports are not for all kids or 'parents'. If the kid decides to play he will have to learn to be tough skinned and deal with it.
  17. If coach Bozeman keeps on sending coach Clinton Gay quality players from the middle school level you never know they could end up being a competitor in the district on down the road.
