It takes a different caliber of person to play at Corbin not all meet that criteria.

I had heard the students signed a petition to get it started. I don't know id that is true or not, i was hoping someone could shed some light on it for me. They did have football at one time not sure when the program ended.

Not trying too at all. I was the one who said he wasn't the same player i had seen before at the pizza box. I was talking more i didn't notice him limping or favoring, i did notice that we shut his ground game down, then he suprised us with his hands, but the real suprise of that night to Corbin was probably the play of your QB, give the coribn D some credit, the stopped the ground game of 'one' of the better backs in EKY but he showed why he is one of the better ones and he adapted and used his hands.

Maybe he is mad because he ran a couple off???.......

Kasey Clark didn't look like he had a torn meniscus in our game nor the state game. ( that was affecting him) 90% of football players have a torn meniscus (cartilage) if you have ever played a sport its torn a little or if it pops a little.. I had had the injury you are talking of. If it was bad enough to affect him in the game against Corbin it would have still been affecting him in the state game and i saw it in neither. I saw a very good back that got stopped and got frustrated and now i hear fans that are making excuses for why he got stopped. The fact of the matter is Corbin stepped up to the plate and STOPPED Kasey Clark on the ground but failed to do so in the air and over looked the QB.

Week 11 wasn't the open week unless it has changed. The open week was going to be 3 or 4 not 11. It may have changed. I'll find your facts out for you.

I would venture to say that Rock was a better team. With Russell probably coming in 2nd

Yes you are alone, every kid that high school football means somthing too in ky dreams about a ring, wether a coach instills it in too them a parent or the program. Yes kids really care about the ring. The state championship ring is a superbowl ring to an 18 yerar old kid who has worked for this thing for most of the time 12 + years.

No when someone says there is the oppurtunity to go 10-0 it means there is a good ball team coming up. That should be the goal of the community, coaches, and players. So yes that is being doubted. It can be done, not easy, but it can be done. That is the goal that is set.

Well opinions differ. I think homefield advantage are a big help in the playoffs. Corbin gave Russell all they wanted and more. At home we score all those times down in the red zone. Makes it a totally different game, not saying that russell wouldn't have stepped up to the occasion but I think home field makes a huge difference

Corbin will be tough.

Corbin will be very dominate in 2A next year. returning everything plus some young faces will play into the picture. There will be alot of experiance on the field. They will be hard to handle.

I left at the wrong time, i believe the score was 34-17 Danville, I thought i am gonna be the traffic. Got to the truck and hear roughing the kicker on danville and thought man i bet it will get good after that. Then a buddy a called me and said you shouldn't have left New Cath came back and won. I missed it but what i saw was a great game.

From what i have heard about Mercer's D, if russell puts 22 on them they are over rated. And with Russell's run D' as solid as it is i don't 41 going up on them off the ground. Could potentially be a low scoring game. Cant wait to see it.

For Corbin Clint Cashen at the QB spot and Sean Nolan in the DL spot. Without these two i feel the out come would have been altered

I believe it, allmost every team has a kid or two that is extremely fast that they go too. Harrodsburg had one or two and mercer co had one or two. They came together and became pretty much unstoppable. The times were computer timed at Centre college, that is pretty impressive. Are any of these kids being currently pursued by and D-1 colleges?

Consolidation or no consolidation or from what i have heard i wouldn't matter too much which class they were in they would be a front runner. All though i don't agree with them being in 2A, but like it was said earlier that is beating a dead horse and it is was not the coaching staffs nor the players choice. The fact is they have earned this spot. In high school it is incredibly hard to go week to week to week and be a great football team with no mistakes or getting beat. I dont believe it would matter what class they were in they would probably be making the trip to louisville. They have beat some good teams in convincing fashion. So i think they have earned where they are at.
