Hazard by 14. Under 5 to play in the 3rd. Estill cant handle Hazards press.

I hadnt heard anything about this. This could definitly help out the Knott County basketball program.

Hazard leads 17-15 @ halftime in the 14th region semifinal. Estill County is milking the clock with every possession to prevent the bulldogs from getting the ball. This could be an upset in the making. Estill is outrebounding Hazard by 3 at the half.

Last years State Runner Up, fails to make it back to the tournament. Congrats to Butler.

Good win for South Laurel. I expected Clay County to repeat as champs.

Coach Noble and Rockcastle could make some noise in Bowling Green.

Congrats to Breathitt County. Back to Back titles. Congrats to Megan Mosely on a stellar career.

It is worth the price of admission to see him coach.

She is one of the best guards that I have seen in the 14th region. Without her PCC would not have had the success that they have enjoyed the last couple of years. Heather will be a great assest to any college team, with her speed and ball handling. Coach Napier once told me that the reason he could press so well, was that Sturdivant was so quick she could make up for other players mistakes. I have to agree.

Good win for Clay County. IMO they will make another trip to Bowling Green

If Knott County is shooting the three well, then they will be extremely dangerous. Knott will have problems defending Shouse (but who doesnt). This should be a good game and for Knott to win they must create turnovers on Breathitt and hit the long ball. Breathitt 64 Knott 52

If you are winning it is fun to watch.

What happened to Powell County in this game. I listened to part of the game and it actually sounded worse than the score states. Mosely and another girl with 20 a piece for Knott. Knott shut down Jones, McFarland, and Rogers. I thought this would have been a close game, ecspecially being on the lady pirates home floor. A bright spot for Powell was Lacy, it sounded like she had a great game. KCC vs Breathitt for the championship.

I listened to this game last night. PCC just could not have an answer to Shouse. Noble for Breathitt played well and the lady Cats defense caused several turnovers for the lady dores.

When the gym carries your name, you get that type of treatment.

I have watched Stepp play several times over the last few years. He is a very talented player, however that talent has been showcased agianst mainly 14th region opposition. He will be a great asset to any college team. However I dont feel like he would make great contributions to a major D-1 school, other than to be on the practice team.

The Hicks name must carry alot of weight. Because the majority of the time that Jim Hicks is mentioned on this site, it is usually on something that is less than stellar. However schools still want the man.

If Estill is shooting the ball well they have a chance. But with Hazards defense, I dont see that happening. Hazard by 15
