I hate that for Franklin. I was really pulling for them, but that shows why you gotta hit your free throws. Blew two three point play opportunities late. That'll kill ya. Maybe next year for Lex Lindsey's girls.

Any News on Tia Gibbs for Butler. I heard she was taken to the hospital during the game. If this is true, the Butler players must have really stepped it up. Gibbs scored about 35 points in the morning game against Manual. She is an unbelievable talent on both ends of the floor.

I know nothing about them. They must be really good.

Are either of these teams a public school? If Butler is, I am not sure, then this is the first time a public school has won the title in about 7 years or so.

Sounded like a pretty exciting game, Franklin pretty much lead throughout the ballgame.... but like other said, shaky foul shooting seem to always bite ya....

Correct. No private schools made it to the Sweet 16 this year, after dominating for most of the decade.

Although some would argue that the two Louisville schools and E-town operate in the same manner as a private school.
