Interesting Match up. Do the flyers get exposed this week, it all fun and games but now the district is on the line who steps up and gets better this week.

Flyers have not played anyone and struggled with Western Hills team that is mediocre at best and let an awful Frankfort team hang around for half. I am interested to see what happens this game. Anderson is normally well balanced.

Gotcha, I am not sure if FHS will ever have a run of horses like they have had, the 8th grade team doesn't exist only has a handful of kids who play down, and the 7th grade has not won a game. After this year FHS will lose its best players in Smith, Robinson, Frank. Its going to take a while. I Hope the get the thing going soon the town of Frankfort has better football all around when all three teams are playing well. My Wolverines are up this year, FC is up, and FHS is down.

Did my post say anything about FC? FHS biggest successes have been when they had a balanced attack... Wins over Danville, Beech wood, in recent memory have came from a well rounded attack. Now against Bracken run that 18 and 19 tell the cows come home.

Not and beat anyone outside 1a or 2a.

Do any good players play defense?? Just saying.

I do not think its really one phase as much as it is just the team putting together a whole game, First game I thought they struggled on specials, vs. Hills I thought both specials and Offense struggled and the overall team was undisciplined. Vs. Woodford they looked awesome in the first half all the way around...Then the second day, defense looked to be in a mess. So to me who knows what they will get on any given night.

You sound like you got a personal axe to grind with the OC. Personally I think he is least of the issues that would concern me as a Woodford fan.

This is always a game early its never a blow out, and still not sure if Franklin County is legit, they have hot and cold points in ball games I have seen. Take 3 phases to call yourself a contender. FHS goes down, but there will be some fireworks from both teams early.

Sophomore nose tackle Jimmy Lewis gave those big boys all they wanted. Woodford had to go to the pass to get the ball moving on FC. The defense is gritty.

32 players at Mercer, wow surprised the new coach has not increased numbers. Normally you get that with a new face.

Offense will have to score and tire out Woodford, if they struggle on O to me the ground and pound will win out. If Franklin County can come out and play fast and stretch the field...they win.

This guy has been doing this for years guys, as well as watering fields, and other antics, someone finally pulled his card.

Lost contracts = basically Hills agreed to play FCHS then without telling FCHS they decided to schedule someone else, Citing lost contracts. But it all worked out.

Lord I suppose it will but basically kids having fun I Think. This caps a long week of contests between the two schools they have played in volleyball, soccer, girls soccer all week. Good thing is many of the contests have ended in prayer for another student in the City that has some health issues. So to me its a healthy rivalry! With all that said I hope the East side dominates!!! GO FLYERS!

Davis for FCHS, and Robinson For WH did not play.

I personally don't think either one of these teams is better than last year. FCHS lost a ton of Defensive standouts, including two college lineman, and 3-4 linebackers. WHHS, lost Lockett who to me is the best offensive player they have had since Dylan Curry. We will see if these teams surpass any of that talent from last year.
