Great game. B-Ville did all they could. If South doesn't slow the ball down the end of the 3rd I think Barbourville wins this game. Nobody gave Barvourville a chance, but they almost did it. They got South frustrated early. I thought they were going to pull the upset off, but they just couldn't hang on. Great job Tigers!!! Represent the region well next week South!!

Clay County will have Bragg. He can fly. Phillip Dunn is also a speedster.

Gilbert played great. She wanted this one so bad. She was doing everything. Scoring, rebounding, getting huge blocks, steals, assists, she was unbelievable. I thought Sarah Burchell stepped up big today when the Jackson girls got in foul trouble. They came out and played with emotion. These girls really wanted this game. Keep it up girls. One more game.

I agree 100%. From what I hear his teams might be even more fun to watch in the future. I think Glenn has a great future at Clay County.

One thing I forgot to say. Go get South tomorrow B-Ville. I'll be there cheering you guys on. If my Tigers can't win, I hope another group of Tigers do.

Cawood didn't honor them last year. If other schools aren't going to do. Why should you??

The Clay-Corbin game was packed. If they wouldn't have split the sessions there would have been some of those teams fans not being able to watch the games.

Good win Barbourville. The Tigers had leads througout the game, lead by as much as 10. Just couldn't push it on out. I hate this for the seniors. You all have changed Clay County sports. Sizemore got basketball back to being fun with the intensity he brings. I wish Richard Jones would have played his junior year so he wouldn't have been so far behind the others at the beginning of the season. All of you guys made basketball fun in Clay County again. This was great season, I loved every minute of it. You guys have nothing to hand your head about. Most people in the county said you all had no chance this season, but you all built off of that and showed them that you guys can play. I also want to salute Glenn Gray on a great season. Everyone said he was nothing more than a grade school coach. He proved to all the nay-sayers he could coach. Good luck to all you seniors in whatever you do, and for you underclassmen, work hard in the offseason, and make another run next year. GREAT SEASON TIGERS!!!

Imagine if Fields wouldn't have left Clay County. Him and Mitchell in the middle, with Jones, Patterson, and Bowling at guards. That would have been a good team. They would have probably walked through the 13th.

You weren't at the Clay-Corbin game. There would have been no way on Earth all of those people could have gotten in if they wuoldn't have split the sessions. I have no compliants what so ever. Everyone is upset because there not honoring coaches and officials passes. Well, neither did Cawood last year. I'm not saying this just beacuse it's Clay County either. I think this has been the best run 13th region tournament I've been to. Also, there is nothing they can do with traffic. If you all don't want to sit in traffic leave earlier;)

I think Clay will win by 10+ if the girls will give Jayme the ball when she needs it. She scored the first 6 tonight in less than a minute and didn't touch the ball again until the end of the 1st. Then I think she got upset and took things in her own hand by running the point and getting steals and taking them in for layups. Clay Could have a battle on their hands if they don't bring it.

South looked good. I think Coach Snyder played her starters too long. Some were still playing with 4 minutes left to play. Those girls didn't have any reason to be out on the floor at all in the 4th, and not much in the 3rd. I guess she was trying to send a message to Clay County, I don't know, but Saturday should be a fun day of basketball.

I think North can handle the ball aganist South's pressure. If they can get out on the shooters, and stop them in transition they might have a chance. It's kind of a lose-lose situation for Clay County. (If we can get by B-Ville.) Because if South wins your playing South, and if North wins you have beat them twice, and it always hard to beat a team 3 times in a row. All I know is Friday night will be a great night for basketball in Manchester. Good luck to all four teams!! I agree 100%. This was possibly the cleanest Clay-Corbin game I've ever seen. I didn't even see any altercations between players whatsoever. Good effort Redhounds, and stay hot Tigers.

I said outside. Hamlin and Cashen was knocking them down the first half, and #10 was nailing them in the 2nd. I thought Clay did a good job aganist Crawford. I guess the seniors decided they didn't want a freshman to end their season.

This was a good game. Clay County didn't play the best they have all season, but they played good enough to get by, and this time of year it is survive and advance. I think the 15th region refs r bad, but they are bad both ways so it evens out. Corbin was on fire from outside. Good season Corbin!! Good luck Tigers!!

Well I got one of them right for sure. I like Cawood aganist B-Ville. I just think Cawood has the potential to make some noise.

I heard on another message board that if Haynes left that Jerry Overbay the 8th grade coach at Whitley County was next in line. He is a good coach, but I don't know if he can do it on the high school level. I hope he can though.

HaHa. I talked to a few Clay players last night at the girl's game and they said this was the draw they wanted. I don't know if I really like it that much. Good luck to all teams next week.

What are your predictions for the tournament. I like North to knock off Bell. South over Lynn Camp. I think Cawood can beat Barbourville, and Clay should beat Corbin.

The official that called the game told me exactly what he said. If you want to know PM me and I'll tell you. I would probably get kicked off of here if i used it in the board.

Seriously?? If that is true the adminastration messed up in not tryin to talk him out of resigning. Does his resignation of assistant principal end at the end of the year or was it effectice immediately?
