I heard that the 8th grader Nicholson was 2-3 for Clay. He seems to really be stepping up for them this year. What did you all think about him?? Who pitched for the Tigers?? This district will be fun come tournament time.
I didn't get to watch any of the game in this tournament, but I heard that Clay County's 8th grader, Corey Nicholson pithced a no-hitter in the first game aganist Harlan. This kid is a great baseball player. He'll be fun to watch over the next 5 years. Did anyone watch that game?? If so, what did you guys think??
I don't think he will be one of the tops in the state, but I think he will be the best in Clay's district. That is Byron Bragg. He is a great football player.
I would, but I just don't know enough about all the teams in the region to vote. As the season progresses and I see more teams play, I will start to vote.
The Clay County player would have probably been Angelo Smith. He took some good ones from fans, but he normally hit big shots to make them think again. (Cawood for example.) Trey Bowling also had to take some heat for being so small. I always liked it when a Christian or Catholic school would chant God's on our side.
There is 2 kids playing for Clay County this year that haven't played since their freshman year. Which they started. They should be pretty good, and could make some noise in the 13th.
I would think this is talking about Stuart Miller from Middlesboro?? Is this official?? Scholorship, walk on, preferred walk on?? He is a great player and could fit into to Ricky P's system.
South has been playing North College Hill, Brentwood Academy, Layfayette, Madison Central, Mason County, and Pendelton County. Who's schedule looks tougher to you??
I was worried both South games, but the Corbin game worriness never struck me because it was never close. I don't think it will hit me Monday night either, unless the refs get their eye on Coach Parsons and give her every call.:sssh:
