  1. I like a Montgomery/Clark final but from there it can really be a toss-up.
  2. I'd say Montgomery County's gym has to be up there, I would venture to guess it is around 4 or 5,000.
  3. As I said, never under estimate coach Griesser's game planning and I bet given being out of school he had some sort of extra practice before the game to make sure his team was fully prepared. I knew this game would be closer than last time.
  4. Never under estimate coach Griesser's ability to motivate and game plan. With that being said I see GRC winning but not by the amount being said. I say it will be like the first meeting at Montgomery Co.
  5. I believe Hundley will be a great Head Coach somewhere, whenever he finds the right situation. He has a bright future.
  6. Champ I have watched alot of basketball in the 10th and 11th this year and in years past. I have watched him and alot of the BBA officials call. If more of the officials would call T's, the games would be alot better. I saw Bo call two games in the Lexington Catholic Tournament and he did T up and toss a coach that gave him no choice after his behavior. I was really surprised he allowed a coach to yell at him as long as he did. I saw him referee the game on TV at Lexington Christian and even the anouncers said the kid ran his mouth to him and deserved the T. Like I said if more of the BBA Officials would use the T, the coaches and kids would act alot more shall we say SPORTSMANLIKE!!!!!!!!!:sssh: And as far as his conditioning, Saw him work the Dunbar/Tates Creek Game which was nothing but a run and gun game and not once can I recall him getting beat or out of position to make a call. In fact he looked slimmer than he did at the Catholic Tournament. :idunno: I am sure he really don't care what any of us think anyway. Most good officials don't:ylsuper: :dancingpa
  7. Lady Indians sound like they decided to get it going and finally Play ball. They have had injuries and distractions, but might just jell here at the end of the season.
  8. Gary Wilson is definately a good choice and did a great job in the All A Classic this year. :ylsuper: Others in the BBA that is considered top officials would be Cary Lyle, Bart Lenox, Wade Branscum, Kirk Hudson, Just to name a few..:thumb:
  9. Omar Prewitt Montgomery County Freshman shoots it well!!!!!:ylsuper::ylsuper:
  10. Seems like good games for Hatton, Rash, and Zollo!
  11. Does anyone know where I can get 40th district coverage online?
  12. Gold Sunrise thanks for the game updates.
  13. I will also agree partly on both sides of this issue as most times the official doesn't have that opportunity to put behind them because they are scratched. Then I see your point as the official having a chip on their shoulder. Going out would solve all their problems. Coaches and officials. Cant wait for districts and regionals to start to see who goes where. Best time of the year. :walk:
  14. Great to here Steve and Tara had a child. Hope Tara and her new son is doing great. I am sure they will have a ball in his hands as soon as he can put it on the floor.LOL
  15. Daddy, You are exactly right. If the officials go out you would have the best six and the best three doing the semis and the finals respectively. If only the coaches would put their past in season and district and regional experiences behind them, then the kids would get their best. But as it stands now, the scratches are honored and you don't always get the best. My official friends tell me they have lost games in the regional semis and finals that they deserved because of a coaches scratch. They work hard all year as do the coaches and teams only to get rewarded and then taken away because one of the officials did their job during a game.:isurrender:
  16. Several of the officials I know would like it if they could go out for the regional.:sssh:
  17. Goldie, Like Sportsfan said, there are all kinds of coaches in both regions that shoot down the idea of swapping out for the regional tournament. They like the BBA officials and know how they call and what they are going to get when they walk on the court. They feel they are the best and don't want to risk a different style when it counts most:ylsuper:
  18. Why the sarcasm here. Bart Lenox would be working no matter where he is from or grew up. He is an outsatnding official and deserves what he has worked hard for. No you are right, he WILL be another Cynthiana guy that will make it to a full D-1 schedule soon:notworthy:
