  1. This is surprising considering all those "middle school state championships" RH has won....
  2. Hmmm, Im shocked he's not at Rose Hill. Didnt he play for one of their AAU teams?
  3. Being a Browns fan is not easy.....its been a long hard road. Hopefully we are headed in the right direction.

  5. Congratulations Devils! I will be there to see y'all next week. Good Luck for Ramland!
  6. Great Game!!! I still feel like I was kicked in the stomach! A night of turns and twist and excitement down to the last play. Every series had a big momentum swing one way or the other. I'm exhausted!!! I would like to say that I'm proud to be a Raceland Ram! The players and the staff represented our small tight knitt community with the upmost of class and pride. They gave our community tremendous football and they respect. Once a Ram always a Ram. Seniors I know you hurt I remeber the last time I had the priviledge to represent our school and community and how bad it felt to take that Raceland off your chest for the last time, but you will eventually get over the pain and remeber the joys and excitement of being a part of something that is greater than yourself. No one person has carried our program but it has been carried on from generation to generation by a band of brothers who are there for each other and stand by each other. Raceland is so unique and special for this reason. You have people who have no family involved who graduated in 1945 that still come to watch for the Pride of Raceland! You will someday understand how special it is to be a part of "Raceland Tradition"
  7. I'll go with Boyd Co. in a close one. Boyd 28 Greenup Co. 20
  8. You forgot to inform them about Dalton Terry and Brian Tolliver who were out in the last meeting.:sssh:
  9. Well, I would say Bob Trimble Jason McAllister Eric Keeton Holly Heaberlin Chris Vandergriff I would put Jason Clark a little bit further down on this list!
  10. The Orange Out was awesome!!! All orange is way better than all black and yes back in the day it usually was a loss to the eventual state champions. Orange is a much more of an alive color. Although I do have my dad's old black jersey here at the house maybe I will wear it next Friday, I know he can't wear it anymore!!
  11. Hicks won the 63rd District at Greenup Co. in 2006. He beat Russell at Russell and lost to Elliott Co. in the 16th Region Semi's. Russell then beat Elliott Co. to advance to Rupp in 2006. Dodd took Russell to the sweet 16 for the first time in 33 years. IMO both coaches have had some nice accomplishments in their careers.
  12. Robby Logan had pressure on the Fairview QB's all night plus 2 huge sacks to stop drives. Robbie really played well on the O line as well openiin hole for Denton and Carver all night long. QB Tyler Boyles did a nice job making good decisions with the ball and not panicking trying to make something out of nothing. Boyles has matured into a great leader for the Rams!
  13. Rams are a diferent team than week 3. Too much Denton and Carver. They controlled the ground game and flat out laid some licks defensively. It is hard to stop them, because if you put too much focus on one of them then the other one burns you. They run physical and downhill a great combination in the backfield! Fairview had trouble with the duo all night long.
  14. Rams played extremely well defensively tonight. They were physical and swarmed the ball. Raceland had a chance to punch one in at the 9 with 2:00 to go, and again Coach Hoof showed great class and sportsmanship taking a knee. The Rams played very disiplined football tonight. 1-0!!!! Now it is time to focus on LCA. Great job this week at practice getting ready for the playoff run by the coaches and players. The Rams responded to big time adversity and that is the makings of a team that can go deep into November/early December. Keep working hard! Now let's go grab our 2nd District Title in row in Lexington next Friday!! Coach Cooksey and Fairview players had a nice season with alot of controversy, and the players perserved and bounced back into the playoff this season. The Fairview players should be proud of their season and know that they will be better in life for enduring under the worse and best of times. Go Rams beat LCA!!!
  15. :thumb:Nice Post, and I agree the Rams will be ready! Remember Football season can't end yet we have only started football weather.
  16. Trying to educate a forum full of Ashland haters is a tough job. I know what you mean about the truth being uncomfortable. Its hard to admit that Ashland has been the most dominant athletic program in this region.
  17. Put Matt Thomas on the space shuttle, send him to Mars, and he would be the best player on the entire planet. This attempt at an analogy makes no sense. If Santa Clause was President we wouldn't be at war and everyday would be Christmas. But guess what? He's not, and Matt Thomas doesn't play for Russell or Elliott. :thumb:
