You have your opinion, I have mine. Elliott in the last 2 years has one Region Runner-Up, 1 Region Championship, and 1 win at Rupp. RH has yet to make a region tourney. RH needs more than Euton and Jackson. Everyone can say all they want about Arthur and Malloy or whoever else. Those players are unproven, especially in March.

This is always a really fun night. If you have never attended a Kiwanis Bowl, I highly recommend it. Ashland has a very strong freshman group. They have 2-3 nice running backs, #25 (Not sure of his name, but very very good. Reminds me of Chris Hutt) #24 Harley Davis (I think is his name) and Dylan Delaney #10. QB is Chris Johnson, younger brother of former Tomcat FB Matt Johnson. The line is very big and physical, I think there are a couple 300 lb. er's. Hopefully we can pull out our first win in 3 years. The only starter who is an above average ball player is Selby. Besides 3 returning starters surrounded by nothing else wont get you far....

Makes sense to me. In my opinion RH is far behind Elliott in the 16th.

I dont know what your definition of better is. I know Ashland has been pretty bad this year, but Greenup has been pathetic for years and years and years. Im not trying to be mean, thats not my style. I was not complaining about the realignment at all, just trying to make an observation. Ashland will obviously benefit from this season in the near future. Many underclassmen got valuable PT and that will pay dividends, with a majority of returning starters on BOTH sides of the ball, as well as a JV, freshman, and middle school teams that have all had fantastic seasons. The current 2-5 record for GC has been the norm for years now, and playing weak competition like Boyd and Lawrence really provides no incentive for improvement. Just my opinion....

Just imagine if Ashland had stayed in the district with BC, LC, and Rowan. They most likely would be district champs, and make the regional final. Kinda makes me sick. But honestly how thrilling would it be to be the best team out of a absolutely pathetic district....

Its been a tough year. But just think, 4 years after our last time missing the playoffs we won state.....I know that doesnt mean much now. But its nice to know things can be turned around quickly.

Well deserved Queen, Paige VanHoose represents Raceland with alot of class 3 sport athlete was named all district volleyball last week as well. The thing that impressed me tonight was the fact that the defense came up with big effort plays tonight. Tyler Boyles strip on the five yard line. Todd Selvage's interception that set up the Tolliver TD pass to put the game out of reach. They also held tough making Nicholas Co. punt all night long. The D looked the more disciplined tonight than it has all year. They have greatly improved and I believe the Rams had 1 penalty tonight for illegal procedure. They looked very disciplined, and that is the stuff that can take a team far!!!!

Rams looked very solid tonight. Carver and Denton ran the ball well all night. The defense looked very good. Rams defense was physical and played tough. The Rams are starting to look better and better each week, they kind of look like they are starting to gel. Finally after the injuries, sickness, and ejections they are starting to get the reps together to make them a nice team. Coach Hoof and the staff are doing a remarkable job. It seems like different guys each week are making big plays. Brian Tolliver made some nice catches and run for a TD to put the game away. Tolliver played big all night. Boyles continues to make good decisions, and backs are well remarkable. Let's focus this week and get ready to make a deep run the the playoffs. Let's go RAMS!!! Nice win on Homecoming!!!!

Wow the bottom bracket is loaded! East, Ashland, and Rowan Co. KVCA's poll has them 2,3,4, Morgan and Raceland were tied at 5. The Devils I'd say have to like their draw! Congratulations to all the teams in the regional tournament next week! Should be a quality 16th regional tourney!
