I wish I could bring some posts back from some CCHS faithful who said two years ago when 07 graduated that CCHS would be on top for quite some time, and Brossart would be down for quite some time... I wish I could remember who. Looks like they weren't exactly right :lol: So happy for these guys...

Its very hard to me to feel bad for any Camels due to my strong dislike of them, but I feel bad for Albrecht and Nerl... Everytime I saw them play, they did it the right way. They worked hard, and they seem like good kids. Good careers for those two... But I feel great for our seniors. Way to step up Drew, Brian, Mitch, and Joe! And I'm sure Jake and Jordan played a great game too...

Huge win for the Brossart Freshman winning the District against Campbell County in double over-time. Go Mustangs!!!!!!!

I've known Jimmy for a long time. He is a good guy that wants to be beat Brossart in the worst way. Nothing wrong with that. I certainly enjoy it when we beat NC. This is a great rivalry and if you missed Saturday's edition you missed a good one. Good luck to both squads for the remainder of the season.

Have you paid attention to Deming at all this year? They were close to Brossart in their first game untill the middle of the fourth, and then Brossart pulled away. All of Brossart's fans knew this was going to be a tough game, and were apprehensive about it. Acting like Deming is a low class team makes the Mustangs look as if they didn't come to play, which I doubt happened. The unfortunate part with this year's Mustangs is they don't have a big man right now, especially with Wolfer out, and if the shots aren't going down against a good team, they're succeptible to a loss... Deming is a solid team, and I'm sure that if they pull it out tonight, they will completely appreciate the All A State and everything that goes into it, and that's what its all about. Try telling them its not a "real" state tournament. Keep your heads up Mustangs, you didn't get this one, but there's still two more that you guys can get...

Congrats to the Devils. I feel bad for the seniors of the Mustangs... Fortunately their season isn't over, and they can still win the district and can compete for region. Hopefully, the Brossart juniors remember this and bring the title back next year...

Tough road for St. Henry with this being their third game this week. If they win the Ninth this weekend they will certainly have earned it.

I am kind of partial to the 2007 State Championship squad from Brossart. One of their starters was hurt (wrist) just before the tournament and they went down and won it anyway. Along the way they defeated a UHA team which included two D1 players (Hopson, Tenn. and Edmondson, St. Johns) by twenty points before exacting revenge from the prior year on Bardstown in the Championship game.

I know a few from Campbell County that wouldn't agree with you... By the way, Reitz never came within fifteen points of Brossart at Campbell, with arguably more talent in one of his years. I don't see how people have Clark over Mason so far this year. I think they're the clear cut number one... I'd say as of now its... Mason Clark Scott/CCHS Brossart What has Montgomery done to warrent a top 5 ranking?

Holy Cross would beat Bracken by 20+... Interesting how those who weren't present are the ones saying it was a boring game... Didm't know it was necessarry to score to be a good team. :confused: Teams that play great defense are always a threat. Teams that excell on offense, but struggle on offense are always prone to an upset...

Final. In the beginning of the year against CCHS, I said Brossart seemed soft... A complete 180 has occured and the Stangs are a very tough, gritty team. Only saw the 4th quarter, but they played composed and tough against a solid HC team. Pulled away at the end. Seemed like Drew Kremer had a solid game. After the CCHS and HC games, Brossart looks like a team to watch...
