Not sure about the year, but I think it was Dan Sullivan's last year at Campbell County. Camels were at Pendleton County and not getting any calls. I think Sullivan gets a T in the first half. All coaches are to ride the bench. Then in the second half Gross gets a techincal, and to top it all off offical makes a terrible call in the last minutes of the game and Ballinger tosses his clip board in the air. There goes T number 3 and Sullivan is ejected due to assistants. I think all the coaches were sent out except the JV coach that was not on the bench. The JV coach finishes the game and has to coach the next game with the Freshman coach.

Once again, I think you are a wanna be to the real Camel1!!

I think you will find alot of coaches that will take Petey the way he is?

Camels will play hard, and we will see after the game.

So if he is out, who is slated to replace him, surely someone with a name if they are being expected to do better than Coach P.

Last couple of years Scott has beaten CC in the first round. If all goes as I think Coach Code has it planned, they will not meet until the finals. Look for CC to win over Scott this week, and clinch the 1 spot in District Tourney.

It has been a while for the Camels, enjoyed watching it.

This does not happen often, but I agree with Mustang on the officials. They did let more contact happen than I have seen on both ends in a long time. I think they missed calls on both ends. Missed free throws and turnovers are what cost us this game. I think we were better prepared than the last time we played and will continue to improve. People keep talking about our easy schedule that Reitz's played. We are playing the same teams now as we did at the end of the Sullivan years. I have been told by administration at the high school that in order for our smaller sports to play in the NKAC we have to schedule basketball conference games. The problem is we are 10th region for boys and girls basketball, but have to play a larger number of 9th region teams so other sports can play conference. It would be better for basketball to play the teams they will be competing against in March, plus some of the better 9th teams. Unfortunately we can't do that.

I agree that our Purple, Highlands, Summit View, and Sharp are all excellent teams. I also think our Gold team has a lot of talent. So look for CC to be just as strong and the other 3 when both teams are merged. Sorry to hear about the refs, but unfortunately it is just the same at CC. I have seen some of ours make terrible calls.

I think someone stated earlier it was a sloppy game on both ends, I would agree with that for sure. Very proud to see Camels move forward to the semi round, and I am sure that we will see a better performance against Montgomery tonight. Also best wishes to Coach Reitz and his team. You saw them hang around to the end, and I think we even saw them playing Defense. Go Camels!!!

I don't know of any heat Coach Reitz was taking, even with his record. I still think the administration was pleased with him. I know he was well liked by the superintendent. The superintendent was the one that hired Reitz when he was still principal. I think the issue was he wanted to coach his son. I think we all agree that Reitz has his place in history. So lets get back to the game.

I think Tex is right in that Reitz is a great coach. You don't win close to 500 games having just talented players. You have to take talent and make it great. I think environment has an effect on players. Reitz definitely has had more success in coaching the small school atmosphere. Even with that being said, I would let Reitz coach my children any day. Still think the Camels are the favorite, looking forward to seeing the game. I guess this will be my only tourney in Maysville this year anyway.

The Camels would prevail over Harrison regardless of who is coaching Harrison. Our team out mans the Breds in talent. If you don't believe me ask Coach Reitz. I will expect a better game from HC because Reitz is back.

My guess is Mason will not take advantage of the weaker teams. It will be a win, but with class.

If the catholic schools don't recruit, then how is this team possible?

It appears to me that we should be happy with the wins, and lets move forward. I think everyone expects the team to do better offensisvely, and I think it will. Regardless of 5-1 or 1-5, it all starts over the end of February. Go Camels!!
